  1. When I was in StT last Feb there was a public bus outside the terminal that went into CA and I think cost a couple bucks each way.  Does anyone know if thats still true?  If not how much is cab fare?  We're not there as long as last month and have several other excursions booked already so think this might just be a chill day and drink a few beers and shop a little.

  2. Personally I would snorkel in Belize with a cruise ship tour. I say that because of logistics getting to good snorkel places. Caulker Cay I think it is called is beautiful but getting there can be tricky on your own. Belize people aren’t real big on watches. [emoji13]

Roatan really isn’t much but if you’re going on CCL branded ships they have their own private area in Mahogany Bay. It’s nothing real fancy but quiet, manmade beach and lots of palm trees. Sun if u want it, shade if u don’t.

Coz is not really a good snorkel place unless you get a tour that goes out to Palancar Reef and my last experience with that was it was very choppy. If you’re without kids I highly recommend Cozumel BarHop. I’ve done it twice and will do again. They’re on trip advisor and have their own website. They take you to the “wild” side....that is the east side. Unspoiled and beautiful. A few small drinking/eating places and beautiful surroundings. 3. Highly recommend Cozumel Barhop especially since without kid. It goes to the east side which is largely undeveloped. Runs on solar power and generators. Look it up and tell Tom I sent u. [emoji13]

  4. Not meaning to be snarky but why would u want to ferry over to the mainland when there are so many things to do on Cozumel? And the island is totally unspoiled on the east side.

  5. We are staying @ the airport Hampton Inn on International Blvd I believe it is. Using Hilton Honor points so ecstatic for that one!

We are coming in Thursday 8/23, flight not yet reserved, and basically have perhaps Thursday afternoon and early evening to sight see and all day Friday. Ship leaves Terminal 91 Saturday. I def want to go to Chululy and maybe space needle. My friend doesn’t care.....she’s just thrilled to go to AK! What about Pikes Place? Thinking 3 things is plenty this trip.

  6. I know that watching lots of CSI makes me an expert, but feel reasonably sure the authorities arriving on crime scene took lots of their own but probably appreciated having photos from the immediate discovery. And security prob wanted some for any potential litigation from other parties.

  7. I read it twice, watched the IE video/report with Deborah Norville and came to the same conclusion as Bob. While I don’t doubt for a moment that this photographer has some issues after this traumatic incident, I also see the point of PCL telling him to take scene photos as evidence. While not in their normal realm of duties I can certainly see why it could be a requirement should such a need arise. I pray this never happens again on any cruise ship. I just got off the Regal a few days ago and can’t imagine the distress of having that happen on our ship.

  8. You’re referring to Cozumel right? My guess is at least till ship pulls out which for us will 2200H in under two weeks. I know they’ve been open past 1800H cause I’ve gone back out then.

  9. You’re talking about Belize I assume. This is one port I’d book thru the ship or an agency. We did a snorkeling thing then went to a pvt beach area. No way would I have attempted the logistics involved getting to and from CC on my own. Too many variables and risk of missing ship. I book 90%+ of my excursions myself but Belize wasn’t going to be one of them. Just my 0.02 Worth.

  10. We went 3 years ago the first week of January. Booked thru site. Paid deposit via CC, balance in cash on arrival to property. They limit the number of guests per day so it wasn't crowded. I've been to nicer beaches and had better food but it was ok. The week was horrible in general due to weather but again it was January. A crap shoot.

  11. Wait what? The fettuccine Alfredo in the parm bowl is gone? This is a practical joke right?

Nope no joke. Just got off Grand Sunday. I don't think they had it on Regal in November either. I recall my daughters disappointment.

  12. I'm not Medicare.....yet fortunately.

I made a general "ship acquired" statement based on timeline and the fact I observed so many people ill appearing and not washing hands and gen dirty ship conditions. I won't share what I wiped off the rims of one cocktail table in W'house with a wet paper towel. Wish I'd taken a picture cause it would be going to corporate. That ship has issues.

  13. I was dealt a case of ship acquired Flu A while aboard the Grand for ten days last week. I incurred medical expenses of close to $400. I have the Princess platinum level insurance coverage plus private sector health insurance via Blue Cross. For those of you who have to file for reimbursement where do I start first?
