Thanks for the info! Fortunately we're not going during boat show, it's the following weekend. Totally agree getting taxi to port is much cheaper and more convenient. Not opposed to walking either if it's flat terrain.

We are going to FLL mid November to board the Regal on a Sunday. We would like a nice hotel for the nite prior. I'm not talking a fancy resort but not a Motel 6 either. Prefer a place with Pier shuttle and nice places to eat.

No good deal here. Price higher and we could lose drink package. Boo.

I've been snorkeling off St John years ago and that underwater "park" that had the markers on the bottom of the ocean. It was impressive.

We have C753 for AK next year. Been offered an upsell once on our first AK cruise for a mini on SB side of SB voyage when our original was mid balc PS on Baja. Uh PASS! [emoji15]

Just off Royal last Thursday. They have replaced salmon with mahi mahi. I was not happy about that. [emoji35]. There was a chicken breast choice, beef option and the usual al fredo in the parm basket. It is avail as an appetizer or entree size. If u want the appetizer size and DO want to get the basket, make sure u make this clear to waiter. Shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad too.

Eleanor R--what did the sailboat excursion cost? We're there other people on it besides u and crew? Going on the Regal in November and would like to do something better than a cab into Charlotte. [emoji35]

A comedian that was decent, Hawley Magic yet again, good piano guy in one of late bars.
Movie wise, we watched Intern on MUTS one nite and think they had something called Martian. Never heard of other offerings.
Sorry but didn't save patters. A guy from our roll call scanned them all and had on the Live From. Royal Feb 22 voyage.

We encountered the same thing last Wednesday nite on the Royal. After returning to the cabin for the evening I discovered the ship hangers were rearranged and divided up as the were upon embarkation. I had also left out specific things to wear home the next day and also had some of my own hangars. Things that were on ship wooden hangars were now on my green plastic ones! I chalked it up to the "lets get a head start on turnaround day" since I also discovered the shower bottles were completely full earlier. He also had an obsession with folding anything left on the bed which I thought kind of strange but have had stewards fold and place bed attire under a pillow in the past. I find that reminiscent of being a kid since my Mom always did that with nightgown etc. I personally can't be bothered with doing that now!

We're inside terminal in group one. They even let me sign in Nancy and Johns wine since they were coming from the airport and didn't have shopping opportunities. Very nice gesture on part of crew member cause he didn't HAVE to do that.

Much better deal than massages which are good but way over priced IMO. You can massage each other on the balcony! [emoji13]

Thanks for info. The coordinator changes periodically for groups of ships.

Anyone know who to contact for our MM on the Royal for voyage late Feb?
Thanks!

LFK involves taking a water taxi from cruise area to that beach. It is a ways away and you must allow plenty of time to get back. I think the last taxi runs around 1545-1600-ish and I wouldn't plan to wait for the very last one to make it back to the ship on time.

We are on Royal Princess in late Feb and port is St T 07-1700 I believe. My BFF daughter lives on St C. I would rather go over there to see her for the day. She says it's a seaplane directly or ferry to St John. I'm thinking this might be tricky time wise and perhaps I should just offer to pay her way to St T and park it @ a beach. Thoughts? Suggestions?

In Roatan? I believe so as well as weight limit. Think it says on the excursion section for it.

Anyone know the contact person for the Golden in August? I clearly had a brain fart when putting Grand previously! It's Golden to AK! [emoji13]

Mike--jane from our roll call here. PCL WILL assign a place for the M/G if you don't know the ropes. Their pref seems to be Wheelhouse. It took a couple of M/G to figure this one out! Hence our group will be in the other place! [emoji13]

Dudley--enjoy and leave us a present or two! [emoji13]

Never seen the red sauce. I have a particular low fat/brand of salad dressing I like and always drag my own.

Robbery and pawning stolen goods and no obvious regard for others lives generally equates crazy and/or drug use to me.

I was done with NCL about 6-7 cruises ago after a bad experience with the worst cabin steward ever encountered. Factor in their nickel and diming for other food venues and various other things....now this ridiculous BS. It's all about money here and no other way to see it. This reminds me vaguely of sneaking peanut butter and jelly sandwiches back into our dorm rooms during my year at boarding school. It was fun and challenging as a freshman in high school trying to outsmart the nuns but at age 60.....not so much! [emoji13]

Hokey as it sounds.....towel animals! Not every nite but once or twice on a cruise. [emoji13]

Emerald did NOT as of Feb/Mar.

We (3 adults ages 26-60) are docking here mid November and not seeing there is much to do here from the posts I've read. None of us are the "lay in the sun and drink beer all day long" types any longer nor does that falls excursion seem appropriate from my research. While we're not in wheelchairs, climbing a falls that is slippery etc seem very prudent either.
As for Cabanas, is that strictly a Carnival thing or does Princess do it also?
