You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by asking your TA to call HAL and request either an upgrade or shipboard credit.

Did you ask the cabin attendant if he had seen it?

Bill & Maryann,
You mentioned a bug being on the Amsterdam. I was on the Amsterdam from January 2 to 14. I got sick the night before we returned (Jan. 13) and I have been sick for almost 3 weeks since. I had a very bad cold and flu. I was really surprised that I got this sick because they were very good on the ship with the hand sanitizers, etc.

Thank you, Bill & Mary Ann, for getting the name of the jewelry collection for me. I am glad you are having a wonderful vacation. The Amsterdam is a great ship and the crew are all fantastic.

Bill & Mary Ann - I'd like to ask for a favor. I was on the Amsterdam a few weeks ago and am trying to remember the name of a designer of gemstones that were displayed in the jewelry store. At that time it was in the jewelry case that was closest to the perfume. There was his name and it said he had designed this collection and he used to work for Movado. I think his first or last name was Lorenzo but I could be completely wrong. If you could find out his name for me, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks.

I have heard negative comments about these cabins. They are in the front so they will bounce more in bad weather. Some people have complained about noise from the show lounge below. And it has been reported that the layout is funny with slopping ceilings. On the other hand, the location is great and the view would be good. The observation deck in the front gets very windy but the cabin window is up too high for anyone to see in.

This is why I don't like having a PCC. If they are not available, the regular customer service people will not help you. And if you are trying to do something in a hurry - change to a better cabin that became available or get a price decrease - it can be very frustrating.
