  1. I have been wishing for years that HAL would do a round trip Fort Lauderdale to Bermuda and maybe Charleston, Norfolk and Port Canaveral. Maybe someday they will.
  2. In reading the news release supplied in the link, it seems to say that the Greenland cruises would be included in the suite promo. Maybe you should refer the PCC to her own press release.
  3. The piano players look like Wesley and Brandon. If so, they are excellent.
  4. On my Eurodam Christmas cruise, the room service breakfast menu had a charge for the extra breakfast items like steak and eggs but did include the free mimosas. Isn't the expanded breakfast menu a perk for Club Orange? Or was I given the wrong menu by mistake?
  5. The problem with the paper straws is that they are not individually wrapped.
  6. Regarding your question about OBC given to you by HAL, if you don't use it you lose it. If it is given to you by a travel agent, it will be refunded to your credit card if you don't use it.
  7. I understand what you are saying. But, while I would love to do a Voyage of the Vikings, it is just too long for me. And, I don't want to fly to Europe to do a one way transatlantic. A shorter round trip Boston to Greenland and Iceland would be ideal.
  8. I like the idea of the Greenland itinerary but I wonder why they don't also stop at Iceland since it is fairly close.
  9. I think this is a description for another class of ship. The vista, signature and pinnacle class all have mini fridges in all the rooms but the S and R class only have them in neptune suites and vista suites.
  10. The biggest change was converting the piano bar into Billboard Onboard. They now have 2 pianos and 2 piano players. The two guys on our cruise at the beginning of November, Brandon and Wesley, were great.
  11. I had exactly the same experience with the chicken parmesan at the Caneletto on the Volendam. After waiting an hour and a half for our dinner, we were served raw chicken. I couldn't believe it. They offered to fix it but after waiting so long I couldn't stand anymore. Also, I was very upset because I had eaten a couple of bites before I realized why it tasted so weird. I would like to emphasize that the chicken was raw - not pink or undercooked - but raw.

  13. I cannot understand why they won't provide a movie theater especially if they already have one. I would much rather watch a movie in a theater than in my stateroom. It certainly is an inexpensive way for HAL to provide entertainment.
  14. We're not sure if the shipyard doing the dry dock sustained damage in Hurricane Dorian. If they did, the dry dock might be postponed.
  15. Eurodam doesn't seem to be scheduled between November 29 - December 9, 2020. Do you think it might be in drydock?
  16. Did you notice if there was a section in the dining room for Club Orange?
  17. I am still curious about the dining room setup for Club Orange. Does anyone know if it is a special section of the dining room and if so, where?
  18. Do you know how Club Orange was set up in the dining room?
  19. I wonder if new dining room plans will be made after Club Orange is introduced on all the ships.
  20. I'm not sure if this will stay in effect after Club Orange is rolled out on the rest of the fleet. They don't mention Club Orange at all on this chart for the rest of the ships.
  21. Can you let us know where Club Orange was situated in the lower dining room. Was it on the sides or toward the rear of the ship?
  22. The topic was "Club Orange on Oosterdam" (page 10 on the HAL board) and the posting about the rollout of Club Orange was by Maclet on July 23.
  23. It is on another topic on Cruise Critic. Someone had posted the rollout of Club Orange on the various ships. I don't know where they got the information.
  24. Loreto, Was the Club Orange section in the back of the dining room or on the sides?
  25. This program of Club Orange dining is scheduled to be rolled out into all the ships starting at the end of July. Does anyone have any knowledge of where it will be located in the dining room?
