We stayed at the Gallery Inn twice! Not your typical hotel. In old San Juan overlooking the ocean with the old Fort to the right and newer one to the left. An artist owns it and it was a piece of work in its entirety. It was worth the higher price but you’ll need to book two nights. The windows had shutters like in the old pirate days and each room is unique. It is four old buildings joined together by a common courtyard. Even appeared in the movie Runner Runner. Look it up!! You won’t regret it !

Also did Segway tour many years ago. The office was to the left of the old port when facing old San Juan. It was awesome. Got a tour, some historical facts and great way to get around without the effects of the heat and strenuous climb up hills.

Do you think a flight on the 25th that goes thru AMS with a 2:40 layover would be safe? I am fairly tight on my ability to travel in the 24th and trying to avoid it but if it truly jeopardizes making the cruise I will reconsider

Need to get from Toronto to Marseilles in time to catch cruise leaving at 6 pm on Feb 26. Do I risk taking a flight that arrives on the 26th? One option with the shortest flying time and only one stop puts us thru LHR with only a 1:05hr stopover. I’m assuming this is too risky? Regardless of where my stopover(s) is, will I have to claim luggage and go thru immigration/security at stopover and at Marseilles?

We need to be in Marseilles for cruise leaving on Feb 26 leaving at 6pm. The best flight for stops any time is on the 25th leaving at 6:10pm and arriving in Marseilles at 10:15 am on the 26th. It is a 10:05 hr flight. There is a one hour layover at London Heathrow for 1:05 hrs. Is this pushing it? The only other option for us is to leave on Friday the 24th at 10:05 pm and arrive in Marseilles on the 25th at 11:20 pm. It is a 19:15 hr flight (ugh!) with 2 stops. 5:40 at LHR and 2:20 in MAD. It will likely require an hotel stay late on the 25th. What are o do? Are the flight situations as precarious in Europe as in North America? appreciate any insight 🤗

We will be doing the Marseille to Marseille cruise on the Bellisima end of the month. Concerned about our return flight time. Was disembark on time and would we be able to request first off the ship? It shows a 9:00 arrival and hoping to schedule an 11:10 or a 12:40 flight. Is this doable or is it pushing things? How early should we be checking in for flight to canada? Thanks in advance
