The last few reviews I've read about Haven suites on The Escape mentioned free movies on demand in the rooms. A selection of about 100 movies.
Does anyone know if this is available on The Breakaway in the Haven suites?
Thank you.

I live in Millbrook! My daughter goes to Forest Road School! What a small world.
Yes, small world! Loved that neighborhood! I was on Brentwood Lane. My kids are now 25 and 27, so a long time ago.

Aw thanks for the kind words. What part of Valley Stream were you from? North, Central, or South. I'm in South, right near Green Acres.
We were in room 15104.
Loving your review and your story! I am formerly from Valley Stream - I first lived in Cameo Townhomes on Central Avenue and then moved to south VS-Millbrook. My children went to Forest Road School.
I'll be back on the Breakaway on Feb. 28 and I can't wait!

Thank you. We are cruising NCL and will check with their air/cruise program first before we confirm our flights. I think the only non-stop to my home airport is at 10:30am. I will likely spend an extra day in Rome and fly the next morning.

Thank you. Do they allow self-disembark in Civitavecchia? This is our first international cruise!

We arrive in Civitavecchia at 7am. What is the earliest international flight we can make? How far from the port to FCO airport?
Thank you.

Last year I was on Royal's Quantum of the Seas and they held an Oscar party in one of the music venues. They had a special "Oscar" cocktail menu and the show was on the big screen. Very classy! I will be on the Breakaway this year and am hoping for something similar!

I did a mock booking for a haven suite yesterday (looking at Alaska 2017). The Amex rate was listed with the $300 OBC and all the "free at sea" amenities were listed in that rate. I looked at several different dates and all had the same option. There was also an AARP rate, which was generally $300 less than the Amex rate but it did not list the "free at sea" amenities. So at least for those cruises, the Amex offer seemed to include all the freebies.

Thank you. Is Kadek the assistant concierge?

Hi. I would also like to know who the concierge is. Is Kadek in the Haven? Thanks.

it's called abiding by stated policy. any deviation from that is subject to penalty.
I know the policy and that wasn't my question.

My DH and I always travel together and carry on 2 bottles of wine. My son will be in a cabin with his cousin (both over 21) but they will not be boarding together. Is there a process in place to insure that each guest in that stateroom only brings 1 bottle of wine onboard?
We will be boarding Oasis in Port Everglades.
Thank you.

Loving your review! I board Oasis for the first time on Saturday. We are in a suite, so love hearing about the benefits!

I do agree the purple people were obnoxious. No offense to them, but they were loud and rude and took over the promenade. We did our best the first few days to steer clear. I'm sorry it ruined the cruise for some. We were fortunate to have a suite. We almost never eat in Windjammer, and honestly the only two places it was very annoying were elevators and promenade. We loved the concierge lounge and our deck. We were in port most days. I had no intention of letting obnoxious people ruin anything for me. If life gives me lemons I make lemonade. I saw my mom suffocate from COPD. Now that is something really bad. So a few obnoxious purple people I work around. The ship was gorgeous, the shows amazing, my suite luxurious, the sights amazing beyond expectation. I loved every minute. I'm sorry so many people seemed to let these rude people ruin it for them. I honestly am.
I wish there was a "like" button. What a great attitude.

When I called about this excursion, the phone agent did not have any info and advised me to email shorex@rccl.com. They took 5 days to respond and you have to be very specific with your question or it may take 2-3 emails to get the correct answer. Good luck.

I think it is the amount of time you spend doing each thing. For example, "anchor, and snorkel :35" I took to mean you would snorkel at that location for 35 minutes. I found it confusing at first but that was how it was explained to me.
Yes, that is what it means. Time spent for each activity/stop.

Which ship are you on, I have it booked for our Thanksgiving cruise on Freedom might see you on the cat :)
I am on the Oasis. I think we are alone in port that day - November 24.
Enjoy!

One other note, this excursion for our Thanksgiving sailing dropped in price by $10 per person. We were all able to cancel and rebook.

Hi. I am booked on this tour in November with 12 others in my group. I will report back with information. However, I did reach out to Shorex by email to determine if we would be bussed to Montego Bay as previously posted. They assured me that the catamaran ride departed directly from Falmouth pier and we would be brought back to Falmouth after snorkeling and beach time. They sent me a detailed breakdown of the time for each activity. I will try to post the schedule.

Do these suites have DVD players or IPod hook ups to the sound system? Thanks!

That is (and was already back then) a direct violation of PVSA as described above - unless the "international stop" was one of the ABC islands, as all other Caribbean ports are considered staying in North America in the scope of that law.

I don't think the cruise went that far south. It was a 7day r/t Thanksgiving cruise from Florida. It was my first-ever cruise and I was a total newbie! I would not have had any idea about this rule. But have since learned about it here on CC!
But I have photos of me boarding the ship with the two officers....they were very handsome! [emoji1]
