Thank you for the wonderful review! We are on the ship for oldest son's high school graduation next spring break from NYC (to let the kids see NYC too). We are in the oceanview version of the same type of room as you, but will have two teenage boys in the bunks :). Ours is at the front of the ship, which I'm a little nervous for sea sickness, but I'm excited to try out of the front of the ship view while sailing. The bulks look very functional since they are out of the way and allow getting around the room easily. We are also trying MSC for the first time. The Meraviglia looks to have a lot of fun things for the kids; we booked with a TA with an OBC offer to be able to do some of it. Tammy

We booked Wildwestfjords for July too. It was pending for several days, but I emailed after seeing this post and got a confirmation today. I emailed before about the early time with it being a tender port; they said that they scheduled tours 30 mins after published ship arrival time and would wait for those signed up, while people were still tendering in. Thanks for sharing! I just found the post; we are doing the Iceland/Greenland on the Star next July. What does the "with Upgrade" on the Dailies mean? There was Beatles Tribute with Upgrade (band) and Rock with Upgrade (a nightclub party). Do you have to buy an upgrade package or pay to get in? Tammy

We did the NCL Sun (78K tons vs Star 91K tons) in March 2017. It was calm for us around Cape Horn and on the Atlantic side. It was rough on the Pacific side for us. But yes, Drake's Passage can be Drake's lake or Drake's shake. A weird comment, but if you across to the Chile/Pacific side note that the ship's wake is green in the South Pacific, instead of the normal and South Atlantic aqua color. Weird, but something that I still remember -- the green and then switch when changing oceans. Tammy

We used Ephesus Shuttle for our tour from Kusadasi. It was not sold as a private tour, but it was just our family of 4; it was affordable. Right, the NCL excursion is just transportation. Our tour guide was very good and shared lots of information in Ephesus. They fit the tour into the short port time without an issue (meet at 7:30 am, with a scheduled 6:30 am dock time). We had at least one stop before Ephesus to see an old Turkish bathhouse and learn about the history of Turkish baths. Hi, Has anyone disembarked on the NCL Jade at Piraeus lately? How early can one disembark with walk off luggage? We are supposed to arrive at 6am and have been booked on a 10:30 am flight. The taxi info seems to encourage pre-booking, but I don’t know when to expect to be off. What is your experience? Thanks!
