  1. When you look at your account on the TV you will see your On Board Credits listed as OBN and OBR.  The N is non refundable, the R is refundable.  Credits from Celebrity itself are, for the most part, non refundable.  Use it or lose it.  OBR credits are usually from your TA or from a Credit Card and will be refunded to a credit card at the end of the cruise if you did not use them.  You can also get cash near the end of the cruise for your OBR's only at Guest Services.

    Hope this helps

  2. We have purchased Apple products on several cruises as we always have extra non refundable OBC.

On the last cruise we purchased an iWatch, and Apple earbuds.  On a previous cruise we purchased am iPad pen.  The merchandise, as stated, is not usually the most current, but it is all new and sealed in original wrapping.  What is on hand is always hit ir miss, no guarantee that what you want will be in stock.  Best of luck

The new rules are in effect for bookings made June 1, 2019 or later which allow combining, actually there are restrictions on certain fare codes like interline, friends & family, but nothing about other perks.

I've been consistently denied on bookings made before 6/1 and consistently successful on bookings made after.  On the ones made after I had 2 perks and refundable and non-refundable fares.

Here is the info from the investor relations site https://www.rclinvestor.com/faqs/shareholder-benefit/.

There is no mention of bookings made before June 1, 2019 but they have been consistently using the old rules for those.

This is GREAT !!!   Thanks so very much

  4. It will be local time.  Almost (not always, but almost always) all of the time the ship time will be the same as the local time, so as not to confuse passengers when they depart the ship to explore.  For embarcation, it is always local time.  You can head to the pier after you check out at 11:00.  It will not be a problem.  Enjoy your cruise

There has been a change of policy which applies to bookings made after June 1, 2019 and it is more flexible / combinable now.

Can you please let us know where it says this  I have searched their site and cannot find anything about this.  Thanks

  6. yes, we bought the shares long long ago and have made a great profit.  We have not been able to use the shareholder credit on the last 20 cruises, so we hold the shares just as an investment, not for the shareholder benefit.

  7. OK. update....  That first leg of our B2B cruise as indeed cancelled due to a charter.  Very disappointing.  However, after the India Intensive Cruise the Journey goes from Singapore to Bali to Western Australia.  We have not yet been to Western Australia so that seems great.  Our TA talked to Azamara and we move the reservation to that cruise, got the $500.00 apology OBC and kept all of our original benefits from the on board booking of the 1st cruise that was cancelled.  All in all, still disappointed, but happy with the resolution.

  8. The size of the room is good, much more spacious than the standard veranda cabins.  We have eaten breakfast on the balcony and in the room, for two it is just fine.  The chairs are, as stated above are ok.  Not one I would buy for my personal home, but good enough to sit in and read a book.

  9. AS above stated it is no longer formal night, just evening chic.  You can, if you desire, as so do, dress in tuxedos and formal wear.  We love evening chic as we prefer to pack light.  I no longer take a sport cot or suit with me, just dress pants and nice long sleeve dress shirts.  It is your vacation, dress however you feel comfortable, within the limits......no shorts, no swin wear, no T-shirts, etc

  10. yes, the do have GLBT get togethers.  The first one is usually listed in the daily and then just posted on the board by Guest Services for the rest of the days.  The issue for is is that they always have the meetings at about 7:00- 7:30 during the time we are having dinner.  Also, as stated bove, they are usually at the Martini Bar, and sometimes our gaydar is not working correctly 🙂

So to make it completely clear: Is the suez canal 2021+next sailing being charteret out?

We have not received any information about this...... and we are booked on suez canal🙄

It seems so.  I, personally didnot get notice, but my TA did get a letter.  If you booked with a TA, I would check with them.

As I've said many times on here, the pricing between UK and US varies. Sometimes it's cheaper to book here, other times it's cheaper in the US. The screen shot was taken from a UK based TA with live pricing so it is genuine.

I am not questioning its authenticity.  Just saying that it is MUCH more expensive on the US sight right now

  13. Food is very subjective.  In the past we ate several times in Blu and absolutely loved it. On our more recent cruises we have been in Suites and ate in Luminae and loved it also.  One intereting note was on the Edge.  We were in a Suite but did not enjoy Luminae at all.  It was too large and noisy, almost like eating in one of the MDRs.  We ate, instead in Blu with out friends who were in Aqua and enjoyed it much more.

  14. OK.  My TA just got the letter dated 11/18/19.  They have chartered out the ship for that voyage.  WE understand that happens, but are not very happy.  All that was offered was some OBC if we book another voyage by the end of the year.  That, however, was the iteniery we desired.....Oh, well, I guess I will look at what Celebrity has to offer and cancel the entire B2B cruise on Azamara
