  1. So much better to have vouchers. Just came back from Summit with NO VOUCHERS. HAD TO HAVE DRINK IN REVELATIONS between 5-7 when we wanted drinks much later before our late dinning. Was not happy. Thy did nothing when we complained. In march we were on ininity with vouchers on B2b where we had out drink in any bar an anytime. So much more flexible.

Celbrity shoul get their act together, because it isn't a perk o hav it when we are not ready.

I thought the vouchers had to be used at certain bars between 5-7.Has this change and you can used then at any time?

  2. Have already done on-line check-in/express pass. Just got notified our credit card had some fraudulent charges, so they are closing that account and issuing us a new card/number.

It will essentially be the same account, just a new number.

    Two weeks before sailing.

Will we be able to change out the number on board when we check in, or do we have to do it in advance? How? What number do we call that someone might have a clue how to do that?

    Thanks!

You can change it on line or when you check in. We did it at checkin no problem.

  3. As is evidenced by this very thread, each person has his own idea about what's interesting or important. It's just a slice of life and we have the choice whether to take it or leave it.

A person with over 200 post from 6-3-14 about 1 tour he is running with same long quote,is more than a slice of life it kills a roll call IMO.

  4. American Shuttle has the concession inside of the MIA airport and will take an on-line reservation/quote. A taxi, on the meter, will run about $75-80+

If you are not in a hurry you can ride the Tri-Rail to the FLL station for under $5 each -- there is a free shuttle bus from there to the actual FLL airport.

QLS (quality limo service) and others may also offer shuttle service. A one-way car rental is another option -- the trip takes about 40-45 minutes.

Thanks American Shuttle quote me $62 best price I got .

  5. Since when do you have to use the word excuse in order for it to be one. People don't have to justify their choices, they just have to live them. I don't understand why people make such a big deal about their choices. If you don't want to do something, don't do it. It's not necessary to try to talk everyone else into agreeing with you.

If you don't think it necessary to try to talk everyone else into agreeing with you ,why do you have over 8000 post

  6. I'd hate to go against what is expected of us.

We are going to be on the Silhouette...

is room service an extra charge ? is a tip expected ?

Except for formal night ,jackets are not required in the MDR.

  7. Can these tea items - sandwiches, cheese plate, etc. be ordered from room service by us non-suite people?

There is a good selection of Hors D Oeuvres in the case in Café Bacio, all are free ,but the Tea will cost.

  8. Thanks. My TA upgraded us to the premium package so it should cover most everything. I am a frozen drink person and DH drinks bud light or other domestic beers so I think those should be covered. I hope. :)

DH should try Michaels Club for craft beer, but ask the bartender if it covered under premium package some are more than the $12 limit.

  9. IMO, they are trying to attract more of a customer base and some of them may be younger cruises. My main reason for believing this is the pick your perk/1-2-3 things that they have been offering. We are part of that younger demographic and it did attract us, but I certainly don't speak for all 30 somethings. This will be my 5th cruise, DH's 4th. All of the prior ones have been on Carnival. This time I was not even looking at Carnival, I wanted to try something different. We were looking mainly at Royal or NCL. But I got an email from an online TA advertising the pick your perk promo which offered us a drink package with Celebrity. Only one half of our pair really likes to drink (DH), but its nice to know I can order whatever I want without thinking of cost. So we went for it. If it had not been for this package we would not even looked at Celebrity. That said, I don't think they are trying to distance people that are not 30-40ish crowd or loyals, I think they are trying to widen their net. That is just my opinion, for what its worth.

Remember that only drinks up to $8 and beer up to $5 are coved under the package. If you order a drink that cost more you pay the full price.

  10. Just because someone can go through a buffet on their own doesn't mean that they can stand in line for the time it takes to go through customs. I am able to move around the ship on my own because there are many places for me to sit and take a break. If there is any distance involved or if it means standing for a long period of time, I am unable to do this and therefore, I use a mobility scooter. Please do not be quick to judge people by what you see and then think you know about them.

That my point .When you are in a wheel chair, you are not standing. Why do you need to cut in front of the line

  11. Thank you, thank you, thank you. !!!!!!! I would gladly be the very last person in line if I could walk again. I wonder, do the people who complain about this, also complain about handicap parking spaces? And might I point out that it was able bodied persons who faked a disability to skip the lines at Disney---ruining it for all disabled when Disney was forced to change their policy.

OP didn't you ever think that wheelchairs and mobility scooters can't negotiate the turns they have for those lines? I know that because I nearly tipped my scooter over when trying to negotiate those tight turns. A Celebrity rep saw this and pulled me out of line. I guess it's worth a few complainers to save on a passenger who would sue if injured trying to handle those narrow lines.

Also OP, try coming to check in a bit later in the day---we do that have never experienced long lines.

I agree with you 100% that a person that fakes a disability ruins it for all disabled .That my point some of the people who pass me in wheel chairs had no trouble moving in the buffet. Also I was talking about disembarkation.

  12. Just departed the Silouette in Ft Laurdale .We were waiting in line for more than an hour with everyone else. My question is why are people in wheel chairs taken to the front of the line with all their family & friends. I understand some have mobility problems and need a wheel chair, but

do not understand why they get to cut in the front of the line.

As many Seniors I have medical issues but that does not mean you get to cut the line.
