I was just curious as to which deck one enters when embarking on Eclipse in Ft. Lauderdale. Also, what area of the ship are you in - what do you see when you enter. Cruising March 8 - just getting excited about details. Thanks!

When you visited the port of St. Thomas did you dock at Havensight, Crown Bay, or tender? Just curious - have seen conflicting information - does not always seem to be the same. Thanks for any information.

I agree with previous post - I don't think people will cancel due to lack of information. We booked the first day bookings opened. We are loyal Royal fans and so are many people who booked early. I love sailing our of Cape Liberty and not having to fly. Most of us are just anxious to hear more (like we did with Oasis). We are ready now - the email said keep watching your email for Quantum updates soon - what their definition of soon is none of us know.

I received an email from Royal today about our upcoming Quantum Cruise - it said keep a look out in your mailbox for soon to be released more information about Quantum. I have been looking for months - I would assume we will be getting more details after the March 26 reveal.

Thanks so much for posting - we are sailing after you starting on March 8. I find it amazing that people have time to post and give us information while they are on their vacation. We are excited to hear about anything you report about Eclipse, food, service, entertainment - what not to miss, what to skip, and hopefully NO MORE sickness. I generally say goodbye to the computer completely while on vacation - but if you want to post live updates - we are here - thanks so much!

Can anyone on current sailing please give us a status as to noro virus. Is it totally gone - have restrictions been lifted? Any tips about ship or cruise advice - any information greatly appreciated on food, staff, entertainment, etc. Hope all is well - smooth sailing! We embark on March 8 when you are leaving with good memories.

Does anyone know what time Eclipse actually sailed out today? A few on the boards said they got information about embarking later than usual - anyone know what time Eclipse was delayed in Fort Lauderdale? Thanks for any information from people on board now - and if all goes well as the next 14 days progress.

Thanks for the idea - funny thing is - I don't drink beer. But, I know 2 friends sailing with us do, and I thought that would make St. Patrick's Day a little more festive.

Sailing Eclipse March 8 - will be on board on St. Patrick's Day. Will green beer be available on St. Patrick's Day - just curious.

Booked this cabin on Quantum first day bookings opened. This will be only 2 passengers - paid deposit - hope they don't bump us. We have sailed in Grand Suite before with only 2 - would be real upset if they bump us, as prime cabins were purchased back in May. I wish Royal Caribbean would post something about this policy on website, unless I missed it. OR does this not apply to a suite??

Which ship? And date of sailing?

For those that don't like them or are not interested - I say those people who go to the bumper cars will be making less crowding on other areas of the ship. Although not as large as Oasis/Allure, I don't think crowding will be a problem. We felt LESS crowding on Allure than any other ship we sailed. Lots of passengers, but so much space and people spread throughout the ship. But, anxiously looking forward to more specifics about Quantum.

What about a grand suite for 2 people. We have always been able to book a grand suite for only 2 - even though it can hold 4.

 

YET - they are allowing 2 people to stay in SOLO cabins on Quantum and Anthem which makes no sense. Those cabins were made for single people so they would not have to pay for a supplement?

I originally had 6:00 dinner seating when we booked, then they automatically changed to say dining options available in spring. Ours were not yet changed back to 6:00. Time will tell - wish they would let us know what is happening.

Thanks to all of you for the responses! Someone told me last year they had a non alcoholic peach sangria - sounds refreshing.

I know several years ago - there were lots of fruit/seltzer drinks among others. Anyone cruise recently have any special favorite drinks? Also, is all the premium coffee expresso - or are there milder flavored coffees not as strong? Thanks for any information you can provide!

Anyone get the NON alcoholic drink package - what were your favorite nonalcoholic concoctions?? Thanks for your tips! I know about five years ago they had some special fruit drinks and they were great.

Anyone having trouble on website ordering luggage tags? Friends cruising with us said when they printed out their express pass - a link appeared to order luggage tags. We did not get a link?? Perhaps it will appear in a few days?? Anyone have a similar experience? Thank you!

Is there a promenade deck on the Eclipse that wraps around the entire ship that you call walk all the way around - bow to aft? I know there is a jogging track, but that is shorter - not around the entire deck. Thank you!

Does anyone who cruised recently know if the smoothies from the Aqua Spa Cafe are included in the premium non alcoholic beverage package. If you had some, which did you like the best?

I know many of you are anxious to see more information about Quantum. In sailing on other ships or talking to customer service reps - does anyone have any idea when floor plans of new cabin configurations will be released: such as the solo cabins, new superior grand suite, etc. It would be nice to know what one will purchase or what one has already purchased. I realize "surprises" will be released gradually through 2014. But, I think they should have cabin configuration all complete - and should not be a secret to those booking or considering booking.

 

I can understand keeping us "in suspense" about larger public areas to provide the WOW factor. But, I think cabin configurations are something consumers should have access to. Yes, there are specific cabin descriptions, but not actual floor plan.

Please take a look at the large port hole balcony. They are supposed to be wrap around balconies, looks like floor not finished connecting wrap around area - or is is just the angle? Looking at cabins ending in 6234 8234, etc. - It appears no floor connecting balcony doors to go around to port hole? Thanks - maybe my eyes just bad
