Can you add the AARP Princess Gift Cards to your onboard account at guest services after you board?? I know you can with the Carnival Gift Cards.

I noticed the same thing owing $3000 more on my account night before last! I called right away and didn't have to wait too long. No explanation as to why and it was fixed without a problem. If I had not caught it myself it would have been a BIG problem. Probably the phones are backed up now with other $3000 glitches, ugh! Hope you get yours taken care of asap. 😊

For me personally it depends on who I cruise with, how long the cruise is, and what ports we will be visiting. My husband and I occasionally will do "booze cruises" on the 4 day cruises that we always do to Catalina and Ensenada. We have been to these ports so often we don't get off the ship. The convenience of not worrying about water for the room, or lugging on my sodas or energy drinks helps make the cruise more fun. Plus the variety and not having to worry about the cost of each drink works for us. I usually don't drink except on our Cruises so being able to try different drinks and not worrying about how much they cost if I don't like them also increases our cruise experience. I will say that if you are going to new ports or plan on spending a lot of time off the ship and trying the local cuisine and drinks, then I would question whether I would get it or not. Probably not because in my experience it made us not want to waste our money off the ship and want to get back on board where our drinks and food were free, hahaha. Now when Cruising with my sisters we usually have free drinks in the casino but that's a whole other post. To each his own. Happy Cruising everyone!

Do you remember how many are allowed to be brought home? I know I was over the count. I was also pretty sure no one would ask. I was right on that.
Exactly. I believe it is one carton per person but lately they don't even ask at all.

They do not hold the cigarettes. I have bought 4 cartons at a time on several different Carnival ships and they are bagged up and handed to you to use as you wish.

My sisters and I occasionally cruise together and I always do individual "cash" accounts. Much easier to check in and everyone can add their own cards, cash or gift cards later at the port or guest services once onboard.

I used Verifly just fine on my July cruise. No problems at all. When I tried to use it again for my upcoming cruise yesterday, I was getting the same error message as you did when I tried to add my booking number and name. I also deleted the App and started over and got the same error message. Must be a glitch. 😩

So in the testing protocols on Princess it states that if "Up to Date" With Vaccines, which I am (2 Vaccines and 2 Boosters) the Antigen test is ok'd to be done within "3" Days, same as the PCR. I'm just sailing locally out of LA on a closed loop cruise and wondering if anyone here has actually had their Antigen test accepted 3 days out or had any problem with that. I can make appointments for either but a little worried the PCR might be slower getting results. Usually just do the 2 day antigen but that option is not available to me right now.
Up to Date
Received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible at least 7 days before embarkation
Antigen
Within 3 days
PCR
Within 3 days

Getting a drink at Good Spirits/International cafe was hit or miss. Sometimes we got service fast, some times I thought I should have packed a flare gun. Once I waited 40 minutes after ordering for a latte. Accuracy wasn't 100%. DH ordered ginger ale and got tonic water (told them to add some bitters and he was good to go). One friend got her order 3 times. I got one twice.
Isn't it possible just to go up to the actual bar and order your drink yourself, or is that not done?

My Boarding times on the Radiance for Feb 7 and again on Feb 28 are both 10-10:30am. Pretty sure 2-4pm window they gave you is incorrect.

They don't allow any luggage on the escalator, but the elevator is right there to the left of the escalator and a lot easier on worn out hips or knees. I don't walk that ramp anymore!!

@sanmarcosman@Markmom18 I didn't mean to sound critical of OP, I was just curious what the rush would be if they didn't have to hurry to catch an early flight.
For me, it's because they make you leave your cabin and then you are sorta stuck with at least your carryons waiting around. I do hear as of late they have opened a few more food places while waiting so maybe not as bad as usual.

The OBC for Your Stock Shares will be on top of, or combined with your other OBC. I usually notify them 2-4 weeks before my cruise. As long as you can show proof of the Carnival Stock it will apply right away. No time frame to be held.

I, like many of you have Cancelled and Rebooked many cruises this year. I have mostly been using Carnival Gift Cards without any problem. Most recently my Radiance Cruise was cancelled. So I proceeded to do what I usually do and found another Cruise I wanted and put it on "Hold" for the transfer. Then I usually call into Carnival and everything is transferred over easy, peasy. Right now though for the last few days it has been almost impossible to get through with all that's going on at Carnival and they have this new feature that basically throws you off saying due to the high volume of calls to call back later. Then there is Labor Day. Will they even answer phones tomorrow? So I am thinking about going ahead and taking it off "Hold" by actually booking it with more Gift Cards for the $300. deposit and then using the online form to transfer over. It's been awhile since I've done this and my new Cruise will be $320. LESS than the one they Cancelled. OK, finally My Question is: Will Carnival return the overage $320. back to me in a Gift Card or add it to my OBC which I really don't need more of?

We have 4 booked in a stateroom on the Panorama next month and haven't heard about any changes as of yet.

Again I am faced with a looming final payment date. From reading these boards it is my understanding that I can ask for an extension. My question for those who have done this is whether or not the new final payment date will show up in the Cruise Manager or do they send you an email verification? Would be more comfortable to actually see this new date somewhere. Thanks in advance!

Yes, this article contains the protocols that were posted for about 24 hrs on their website. Maybe an error was made and these new protocols were accidentally released too early. Who knows....

Are sure this is true- it is not on Carnival's website.
Yes, I also saw all these protocols posted on Carnivals website for about 24 hours. Then they took it down.

Is this information ONLY on the booking page? They didn't want to tell all of us that are ALREADY booked? Even searching on the web for an exact match of the wording does not lead to a link to this statement anywhere on their page. If someone has the direct link, can you please post it?
https://www.carnival.com/legal/covid-19-legal-notices
Actually it NOW looks like this direct link has changed from what it was yesterday. What the OP had copied in the initial post used to be at this link but no more.

Thanks for the advice! I don't know why I didn't think of using a spread sheet sooner. I'm going to go ahead and try to do it now. 😀

Am I the only one? I am feeling more and more foolish and can't seem to keep track of Cruises Cancelled and Rebooked. Usually I am really on top of these things. However, I've just gone through a long list of emails trying to figure out which Cruises have been rebooked, whose names they are under, how we rebooked them, etc. As of now I know I still have a Jan 2021 cruise to answer Yes or No to refund or FCC and I just did the online reimbursement form to transfer my April 2021 cruise to my Nov 2021 Cruise. Pretty sure my May 1 Cruise will be cancelled as well so getting ready for that. I'm hoping I can call Carnival and they will have all this information if I just give each of our 3 names! Does anyone know if this is true? I feel so dumb!! I blame it on all the confusing emails, hahaha

Yes but the cancellation penalties only apply if you cancel your own cruise right? Not if Carnival cancels all the cruises for that month. It just then would transfer over right. At least that is what I saw with the other ones Carnival Cancelled and then I rebooked with FCC. I've never tried to extend my final payment date so I'm nervous about trying that. I'll probably again end up just paying balance on due date.
Dining and the Solo Cruiser

Just did my first Solo Cruise with AnyTime dining and had no problem. After you check in it will give you a table number, but I just told them I preferred a booth and was willing to wait. Within 5 minutes I had my booth.
