It may have been missed that these deck service waiters, also do a shift
And some in the MDR. I have met my wine waitress, serving on deck.
Therefore they get some of the automatic gratuities. Free water or not.

Concerning money. Use pounds, not euros. They do not like euros,
And charge more for using this currency. I found this out, buying a pint
In a pub. Possibly saving around a third on the cost using Stirling!

Thanks jim! Does sound like a special place to visit. Nice change from that
Duo of Vigo and Lisbon.

Just to say a lot of cruisers, would never go on a maiden . Because of the learning curve.

People ask a serious question, and expect a serious answer.

After their contract, do they move ship as a troup, or individually?

V415
in Cunard Line
Is everyone happy about the change of ports? No one has mentioned it so far.

On p&o ships, they wave their little flags. Are there sail aways on cunard ships?

Just worked out the tips for our Black Sea cruise. It is quite a lot!

Leaves alasund late evening. In the start of the main event in the early hours of the morning. It's a long trip. Takes maybe eight hours!
-
Certainly I have found, cunard and p&o tell you your age at the time of cruising.
I usually book the first possible day, each year. That then makes me a year
Closer to the end, on the paperwork!

Hello Sharon, long time no see! Just got your new book. Will read it fully.
Regards, mike, southampton. One of your fellow lunch diners, all that time ago!

That is right dai, if we decide to do this cruise. Yes I know about the tender port
Or ports. Always a bone of contention, and always check the cruise schedule
Before booking. Someone said there are no wheelchair friendly excursions
On the American cruise. Find it hard to believe, when the Americans have
Legislation for access. Mike.

Forget the reputation on average it is perfectly ok. Yes I have experienced
A very heavy swell on one occasion. But maybe luckily only the once
In quite a few trips there and back.

Tom uk is right it is very inexpensive to take the train. If I remember correctly
About five euros return. The trains run on time.! Yes the walk is around
A quarter of an hour. We walked back to the station. But we boarded a bus
From the station to the town. Just a few minutes.
-
Yes, on average, the carry our own bags folks do get going around 730
P&o ships usually come along side in southampton about 6am. More or less.
I often watch the happenings from our cabin.

The eastern seaboard.

Hello from southampton, England. Maybe on a p&o aurora cruise from here to USA and Canada. My question is, do British cruise ships always berth in
Mid town manhattan? I know about qm2 using the east river, because
Have sailed back to England on her, very special! Thanks in advance. Mike.

Do p&o always have a berth in mid town manhattan?

Thanks dai, my wife can no longer walk so has to use the wheelchair.
We need the transport for wheelchair accessable. As you know, they only release
Details of accessable excursions close to the departure time. I really do not know why, when you can see the others, or examples of them on the site right now.
Anything you can tell me about this trip would be helpful. It would be aurora
September 2015, it has one new port in Canada, the last one. Cruise
R515 the only reservation is all those sea days. Thanks, mike.

Does anyone have any knowledge of wheelchair friendly excursions in
U.s.a. And Canada, for the ports British cruise ships visit?
Considering one for next year. Thanks.
-
To those who have done the American cruise. What is there in the way of excursions from the American and Canadian ports?
We know we have a well travelled wheelchair user amongst us!
This about disabled friendly excursions.
