Thanks for sharing, bklyborn47. My husband has a recent passport and had no problem scanning that code thing. Mine took many tries, but we finally "found" it. Then there was the photo episode...too close, too far, too right side, etc. What a relief to get that done. The emails surprisingly arrived in a few minutes. Hopefully your posting and this one will be helpful to others!

We applied for the visa and at the end of the process, found out there is a $20.00AUD fee. From what I have read on these boards (including the Australian/New Zealand board), the visa should be free? Please advise with any current information. Our cruise is on Solstice, from Hawaii to Australia, on Oct. 1, 2023. Help, please!

Yesterday, we booked a cruise for Oct. 2023 from Hawaii to Australia, using the 75% promotion. We booked a celebrity suite, which we understand includes gratuity, premium beverage, premium wifi and obc. The booking statement/email showed the 75% discount and the obc, but not the suite perks. Called today and the representative verbally confirmed we have the perks and they would show up on our account in ten days. Is this "normal"? We have booked suites before and do not recall having to wait. We always ask for the booking statement while still on the phone. Just a bit nervous considering some of the issues others have had during the booking process. thanks!
