  1. We are on an April breeze sailing and according to cruisett we will be one of 5 ships for 2 of our ports of call. I want to pre-book a carnival excursion now, but my family wants to wait until we are on board to book. I'd hate to pre-book for our cabin and then the rest of the family dont get in the same tour once on board. Have you ever had a general excursion sell out?

I mean actual tours, not cabanas or FTTF.

Yes it did happen to us on our last cruise. Two of us pre booked a tour and the others tried to book it once on board but it was sold out. They did however get enough people to schedule a second tour so they got to go but not with us.

  2. Most rental car companies will charge a $3.95 fee for each day you use the Sun Pass lanes plus the added tolls. This can save time and hassle in some cases, while adding a minimal extra expense.

I usually use this service when in Florida as I am always concerned I will pay the toll and then still be charged later by the rental agency. This may not be the case, but this is convenient as well.

I will check when I pick up the car. Thanks, I have a pike pass here in OK love not stopping.

cash lanes are to the RIGHT ... to some they look like an exit so be careful ...

electronic lanes are to the left and do not slow down ... they just go under a 'bridge'

mainline tolls have both attended lanes (change and receipts) and exact change lanes (quarters)

(the single toll plaza was split a few years ago due to residential development along the Beachline ... new residents were having to pay $2 each way, while only traveling from west of DALLAS to points west. The new plaza reduced their toll to $1 each way. The ironic part is if you go back to the 80's there WERE 2 plazas and one was removed to save money .... only to replace it a few years later... albeit in a different location.)

Thanks we are renting a car to the port the day before.

  4. Love this thread......

I travel with my mother and sister and both have mobility challenges. Everytime we go to the buffet I help get them seated and thru the lines, most times someone will see and come and help with plates, drinks and such. One time our server from the dinning room was working most days and he looked for us had a table ready close by if he could. He knew we drank tea and had drinks on the way before we seat down.

  5. I was wondering about how many people do they book on each premier cruise. I know it is limited because my sister called for one sailing and they said that was full. So how full is the casino? Is it hard to get a machine or seat at a table on these cruises?

  6. Cruise cash gets deposited into your S&S account. You can go to the casino and purchase your chips with your S&S card. So the answer to your question is yes. But remember, if you use your S&S to buy chips instead of cash there is a 3% charge. A hundred dollars worth of chips will cost you $103.00.

Or you can go to a slot machine and transfer it to your bank hit the button and then cash out the rest at the cage for cash. That is what we do if we put tomuch cruise cash on our account.

  7. I have a few questions if someone can help me. I have never been on one but I know the ships I have sailed on has had them.

So my question is where do they hold the private functions.

Also where are the drawings I don't remember hearing them in the casinos Thanks for your help

  8. I am very glad to hear she is maintained well that was my first main concern as her last dry dock was in 2011 and she was suppose to go again for dry dock in 2014 but for some reason it never happened.

I loved the Steakhouse on the Dream we dined there every evening it was perfect and always something different to order, but my daughter and her boyfriend going on this trip so they are on a budget, won't be going every evening maybe three times. This is the reason why I am trying to get hold of the 8 day menu's so we can choose which menu we dislike most and go to the steakhouse then.

Besides room service and pizza, is there anything else to eat past 11pm? Salad anything?

I never bought snacks with me on a cruise has anybody done this?

We are on this ship with you. I haven't been on this one before but I do know that all of the ship have salads at the pizza place. See you on board.

  9. We are trying to decide between renting a car going to the hotel and port so we can go out to dinner and pick up things before the cruise and then using Cocoa Beach shuttle back to the airport. Which rental is best and will they drop us at the port that morning.

  10. Thank you...I am so glad that they remain to have a live band at night.

As for the bedding, my only concern is not to get a sagging mattress and a pillow that needs to be thrown out, so whether I get a softer comfier one or a hard one doesn't matter as long as its not sagging lol.

Would you happen to have the 8 night menu's? We like to dine in the steakhouse 3 nights would like to see the menu's to choose our evenings to dine there.

    Thank you.

We just booked this cruise today with a casino offer. Looking forwaed to meeting everyone...
