  1. Well, it finally happened this past Tuesday. After nearly a dozen trips to HMC, we weren't able to snag a cabana. We made do. Picked a spot under a big tree between Villa "C' and cabana #6. This pic was taken very early in the morning. By 10am it was completely shaded for the rest of the day!

I see you have floats, did you rent them? How much? and is the water calm so you don't float away.

  2. If anyone can answer this for me it would be appreciated:

Is there a "Towel Exchange Station" on the Lido deck.

We are aware this is a towel provided in the cabin for the use on the Lido or any of the pool / spa areas on board.

Yes you can get a towel on the lido deck. There is a towel hut.

  3. Easiest way to avoid this problem is to start your booking off as past guest, then later when you are more certain you can change it to early saver.

We had a small problem with this on the cruise we booked last yesr. The one before this the change to early saver worked however it depends on the promotion at the time. This time it was half off on the deposit and $300 obc for a 7 day. when we tried to change to early saver we lost the extra $200 obc, we could only keep the normal $100 obc for booking on board. So check your info before as others have said to save you time at the counter.

  4. Yesterday, we were finally able to do the double digit dance! On December 21, 2013. we booked B2B cruises on the Carnival Glory - October 18th and 25th. We are leaving home one day before we board the ship. YAHOO!

While checking Carnival's web page yesterday, I noticed that the cost for the balcony cabin was less than what we paid, so I called and was able to get a credit on our final payment for a difference of $176.79! We are SOOO happy. OK, the difference is not all that big, but I figure anything is better than nothing. You can bet that I'll be checking the site every day until final payment!

We are also on your first cruise and doing the double digit dance today.... We booked back in Oct of last year while on the Conquest........

  5. We book our upcoming glory cruise in Oct last oct on our cruise. We did the promotion they had it was half deposit and $300 OBC on a 7 day. It just depends on what they have going on at the time. Worth checking into however the price has gone down and if we change we lose the OBC at least $100 of it. So you might want to price out what you are intersted in before cruising.

  6. I often have an onboard cedit before sailing, and buy gift cards up till sailing to add to spending money on ship. Was wondering if it is possible to add cash to it before we cruise? Maybe calling and adding cash by phone ever so often? Would be better than waiting till I board to wait at guest services when they are so busy! Thanks for any help!

I sail this weekend and used the new cruise cash to do this. I can let you know how it works out. You can buy them in $25 values. But it says they are non-refundable so I will just put what is left if any on my casino account and cash out.
