  1. And some people can't help but make rude, smart a** comments on cruise message boards just because someone else didn't handle something in the same way they do.

    I rest my case.

I like the part where you told someone else what they don't need on their cruise.

Great post Organized Chaos and very well said.

  2. Just curious. What happens when they start charging for breakfast in the main dining room? And, then dinner in the main dining room? And, each time they do all of this AFTER folks have paid for the product that was to include these options for free? The time is coming... Eat at Windjammer or pay a fee. If folks just take these things like RC sheep, RC will keep taking away included for free items and reducing the quality.

BINGO! The cheerleaders will never learn.

  3. Fresh off the Breeze, this being our 7th Carnival , Fabulous time. One thing in all the cruises we've taken that I will never understand...Why must people leave their empty trays, plates, cups etc in the hallway outside their cabin door? Nothing like walking up a hallway and seeing a cup just sitting there or uneaten food on a tray. I don't get why leaving it in the cabin is such a hard thing. I mean would you do this at home? I sure as hell hope not, but maybe that's just me being OCD. Feel free to Flame, I know its coming...but I know I'm not the only one who thinks this.

You guys really do NOT want to open this can of worms. NCL recently tried to use this as an excuse to not allow people to bring food from food venues to their room. Basically it was a way to FORCE people to use their pay room service. Thankfully many NCL cruisers revolted and NCL reversed its decision. Leave it alone. If that is Carnivals policy to leave trays in the hallway, then leave it at that. We do not need to give them a reason for another cutback. Room service always tells people to leave it in the hallway. It is easier for them to deal with it that way.

  4. The cutbacks on all cruise lines are adding up and on top of it cruise prices are really getting crazy. These days it is more money for a lot less. I hope it does not keep going in this direction. In five years cruising will not be the same. In the future I see my family doing more land vacations. Which stinks because we love the cruise experience.

  5. I just saw a post from JH stating that the new activities for 18-20 year olds are being well attended. We will have two 18 year old's sailing in the future and I am wondering what these new activities are?

    Thanks in advance! :D

This is great, the 18 to 20 year olds really do need something to do. I'm glad to see Carnival addressing this.

  6. Those who cancelled their CRUISE----they should have waited---maybe NCL does respect those guests who sail with NCL.....HAPPY SAILING to those who stayed with NCL and to the rest...........!!!!!!!!

I Cancelled my NCL cruise and I'm glad I did. It actually worked out way better for me. I found a cruise on another cruise line with an itinerary I am much more excited about and I also paid a few bucks less. Not only that but I was able to help change something. Oh and I do not have to pay a 7.95 for room service :). HAPPY SAILING!

  7. To all,

It is not often I apologize. But, this time I was wrong by underestimating the power of CC message boards.

In particular the no food to be taken back to rooms or outside serving areas thread(s).

I hope anyone who I pissed off, accepts my apology for marginalizing this group.

You were right, I was wrong. Until next time.

Dismissed, nothing to see hear. Move along

Wow that is very big of you. It is good to see people like you out there that still have real class. Thanks.
