  1. Are they showing up on the website for both of you? clubroyaleoffers dot com? Where are you entering the manual details at? EDIT: Oh now of course it seems to be working, just tried it again. Maybe it was a momentary glitch? It was saying no offers immediately, like it didn't even check my account. But trying it just now I see like 8 sitting there hah
  2. Is anyone else seeing the Club Royale offers site being busted? It immediately shows no offers, even before (and after) putting in your info.
  3. That's sort of what I've been thinking. You'd think changing seasonally.. or even twice a year wouldn't be a huge thing for something that's theoretically supposed to be a unique experience, but...
  4. Does anyone have a recent chef's table menu? My experience with it the last several times, across different ships, had the menu exactly the same each time. I'm wondering if it has been refreshed.
  5. This has gone way beyond my original question, but... The IRS has jurisdiction over every penny you earn anywhere in the world (if you're a US citizen). If you wander off to Thailand and get a job at a random coffee shop, you still pay US Federal taxes. The government always wants its due... lol
  6. Awesome, thanks for the quick feedback folks! Sort of glad I didn't win big on my last transatlantic 🙂 I mean, I'd rather a large jackpot of course, but also it would have been interesting spending a week or two wandering around Europe with $10k in a bag or something and then flying home with it and all that.
  7. Maybe a dumb question, but do they always payout in cash? Is there a point where it's a check of some sort? If you finish your cruise with like $5k-10k in chips or on your card, for example. Mostly just wondering because I do spend time there and sometimes wonder about dealing with these things if you arrive at a destination far from home with more cash than you'd prefer to carry, etc.
  8. On RC specifically (But curious as to others), if you end a cruise with say $5-10k in your bank, how do the casinos pay out? Is it always cash? Is there a limit or is there a point where they cut a check instead?
  9. My favorite response to these sort of things is: "Oh no, that's terrible. It must be hard to get help. Don't worry, I speak Spanish, let me find a cop!" and then start looking around for one lol
  10. Did a TATL a few months back (Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona), will do my best to answer: Yes, there are definitely very few children (like none on my last one, a tiny handful of teens, and limited early 20s folks, definitely an older crowd). Quieter? Mostly. It was a smaller ship (Vision), and often the bars were quite crowded since basically every day was a sea day. It was also hard to find venues without something going on in them sometimes. Seems like there was always trivia or something else happening nearly everywhere we went during the day. Drink Packages - yes, but if you just wait for the right time they'll have BO1OHalf off, so it comes down to like $55/day per person for two people. It's very easy to keep up with it though. Remember you're on the boat all day. It's all the drinks you want, all the soda, all the water, etc. Glasses of wine with dinner, drinks throughout the day. It is nice to just know how much you're spending and not worry about what things cost. ' No other big surprises. I'd definitely suggest a larger boat if you can though. While we did just want to relax, we ran out of venues to explore very quickly, and meal options were pretty limited. The main dining room, I'm not sure if it was just because it was TATL, or the new post-Covid stat of things, was pretty mediocre most nights, and there were only a few restaurants on the smaller boat so those got old quick too. Windjammer was actually surprisingly decent. Honestly though, the rates on TATL are usually great, and it is well worth exploring.
  11. They only cover up to $400 for flight changes - a very insignificant amount given prices these days, especially if you snagged a good business class deal. Changing the dates could cost thousands.
  12. Have you all noticed any lack of staff? I just saw that shore leave on the Ovation was just cancelled again due to a high number of Covid cases among the crew, so they're not allowed to leave the ship on port days.
  13. I've had mixed experiences. A few years ago I did it on the Allure, and it was a pretty nice experience. Good interactions with the chef, good mix of food, etc. I did it again this past February on the Navigator, and it was okay. The chef was good, the menu was uninspired though. Lots of mediocre seafood, imo, and nothing -amazing- as you should have in a chef's tasting menu. The dessert was neat though. Then I did it again earlier this month on Vision. It was the -exact- same menu as a few months ago on the Navigator, without a single change other than some very minor preparation differences due to different chefs. The chef interactions were really great on Vision, but the menu remained the same. Unfortunately, I don't think these chef tables are really worth it. A true chef's table tasting menu should be unique, and at the whimsy of the chef, changing to depend on their mood and ingredients that day. They should not be the same thing, fleet wide, with minimal changes. That's just another meal, not a chef's table experience, imo.
