Arriving at Coco Cay...

Yes, I did go out to South Beach (I think this area is most like the Labadee experience.... very quiet) and the Cove is right after that. The Cove is available to use and it is as far as you can go. Beyond that area the are working on something but I don't know what it is to become.

You are not a party pooper. It is actually amazing to have the perspective of someone living through this instead of just the spin that TV news chooses to give to us. You bring reality to this mess.

I'm not sure if there is enough alcohol on this ship for that to happen.😊

Just took a walk through some shops. I can believe how over priced the Logo Shop is. They are selling ship models for $70. Sorry but there is no value there at all. I'm glad I bought one last year. I love them but I'd be very conflicted about buying at this price. Combo cap and t-shirt are selling at $45. Last year in Aruba I got a combo for around $12. RCI is really getting out of hand with their pricing on many different levels.

Presently at the Top Tier event. It is on Two70. This is one thing that I so much more enjoy on O class ships in the Aqua Theater. It is beautiful outside and I don't want to be inside. They are also wasting a lot of time having the orchestra play music that I don't really like. I want some divers... I'm not a huge fan of Ken the cruise director either.

I love Odyssey. It really won me over last year.

Easy to be a winner when you are the only player... like in Monopoly.😁

This was the birth of yesterday. I hope these pictures post well.

So today is the first of two sea days on our way to Aruba. The weather is picture perfect this morning. Yesterday was Coco Cay. It was a bit breezy and cloudy on and off. Maybe not the perfect beach day but good enough and totally fine for someone like me who was more interested in walking around and exploring rather than sitting around on a beach. It did start raining around 3 PM until 4:30 but I was already back on the ship. I accomplished everything that I wanted to and weather turned out to not be the issue that I thought it might from the forecast. I enjoyed the day and exploring. It was really nice having an enclosed solarium when the rain did arrive. I listened to some music and had a view of our next door neighbor, Liberty of the Seas. If anyone has any questions about Coco Cay I'd be glad to try to help. I was thinking about maybe starting a thread comparing CC with Labadee. Maybe it will happen... maybe not.

Sorry to read all of this. I feel badly to be writing about what's happening on a cruise ship when you are dealing with such issues.😐

It was good until around 3 PM then rained for about 1.5 hours. I was already back on the ship. The day turned out to be just fine!
