  1. I can't answer it for sure as I was the only Diamond member. I would think so the fine print reads: Specialty Restaurant dinner (no beverages - members + 1 guest of the same cabin no diamond member) We had 2 cabins and total of 4 people. My dinner and my wifes was free. We paid paid $12 x 2 for the kids plus added gratuity. It was worth it and service was excellent compared to MD. I
  2. It was right on the other side of the tables and chair, not far at all. There was a a lot of sand bags up near the water to prevent errosion. The water was clean from sargasum as they had plastic fence up around the entire beach. Plenty of adults and kids in the water, they had free kayaks to use as well.
  3. You are correct the bathrooms at Crazy Lobster are not great either. Though the faucet can be turned on and off. Unlike Buccanos where your wrist is dirty. My workaround was dry my hands and use the hand sanitizer outside the bathrooms on my wrist. I guess small things in big world. Buccanos bathroom size and cleanliness overall was much better than Crazy Lobster I will agree. I would return to both without question with that all said.
  4. I as well prefer little spicy. I ate at Holas twice once on embarkation and the last sea day. I had no problems and found several options, the chicken quesadilla and chicken taco. Just a tip on the last sea day make a reservation. We arrived after 2pm and were turned away. We pushed a bit and mentioned all the empty tables and were eventually sat. The hostess kept mentioning that all the reservations she had but doesn't appear a lot had showed up. We enjoyed our lunch and still highly recommend Holas. Make sure to say hi to Ashish Rao (Seashore) at the Hola's bar, best bartender I've ever dealt with. Super nice and super fast with drinks. Remembers who you are and what your drink, which is rare on MSC ships. No issues with Beverage Plus package for any drinks under $10 at Holas as well
  5. Our family of 4 was on board MSC Seashore. We decided to head over to Buccanos for the day. Caught a taxi from punta lagosta Port Cab driver charged us $20. Oddly on the way back it was $10 not sure why there was a pricing discrepancy. The resort was very busy with 8 cruise ships in port. We arrived around 10:30 a.m.and there were no lounge chairs available. Entrance fee was $25 a person which was reimbursed towards food which was delicious. The resort itself is fairly small. The bathrooms were nice and clean but hated the unhygienic faucets. The faucets had the little knobs that you need to use your wrist to turn the water on. Very 1950s. The beach itself is very small and the water is fairly rough. We did notice quite a few fishes in the water. Resort was quiet with no loud music outside of some kids playing in the pool. Overall service is very good and the staff was very nice, we had a great experience. Pictures of food are fish and chips and shrimp quesadilla. Hope this helps someone compare to Mr Sancho's, Paradise and Nochi Cocom which we have been to before. We personally prefer a la carte rather than all you can eat and drink and would return.
  6. 4 ships in Port 3 big ships, Royal Caribbean Harmony, MSC Seashore and princess regal. Had a blast at Crazy Lobster was packed but plenty of room we went there early around 1030 am. Cab ride was $4 a person each way. Food was good and prices reasonable. Bucket of small beer 5 for 7 or regular size beer 5 for $10.
  7. No issues taking water off the ship for Caribbean cruise. I am able to get 4 bottles of water at a time for any bar or coffee place with easy plus. Hope that helps.
  8. This is correct for Butchers cut which we have booked as well. Adults order off the experience menu: one appetizer one entree one dessert for free.
  9. Following up on my original post. Went to Holas taco on Embarkation day. And the restaurant was empty. I was able to use Easy Plus beverage package, ordered a la carte spent $32 for 4 people. Best money spent no crowds and food was good. Hope this helps someone else.
  10. I am on the MSC Seashore and can confirm that easy plus package could be used at Holas and teppanyaki restaurants. I will be going to Butchers Cut tomorrow to try as well.
  11. Thanks for the tips I will further research the additional places you listed and post back with where we end up going.
  12. Looking to get updated advice on Costa Maya. Read through multiple posts here and watched a ton of YouTube videos just to be even more confused. We have been several times but not in at least 3 years. In the past we walked out the cruise port area and grabbed the trolley to Mahahual Beach. Looks like the trolley is gone and substituted with bunch of taxis? We been to Krazy Lobster a few times and thought it was fine. Leaning toward a revist toe KL. Looking for any updated recommendation of a pay as you go resorts while we are there in March. Mainly looking to relax, and not a huge party scene. What worries is is there are 3 ships in port including the RCL Harmony of Seas, Regal Princess and MSC Seashore which we are on. I am thinking some of these places will be packed. Any updated recommendations PAYG? I see a lot of different places posted like Tropicante, Yaya, Nohoch Kay. Looks like Malecon21 and several others are now all inclusive. Appreciate any help in advance!
  13. What does MSC consider a signature venue on MSC Seashore? I wish they'd be upfront and list it. Specifically is Hola! Tacos & Cantina considered a signature venue where Easy Plus can not be used?
  14. I know the buffet is open. Are any of the specialty restaurants or MDR open for lunch? I was considering Hola's ala cart to avoid the mayhem in the Buffet. Can we use the Beverage Plus package at Hola's or is it considered a signature venue?
  15. Thank you both for the reply. I thought it was odd they where restrictive on the water. My in-laws also cruised with MSC during the pandemic and in Europe some. I was thinking it was a different package or some sort of restriction due to limited bottles of water.
  16. I would also like to know the cost for adding on our 2 kids as well. We will be sailing Seashore and I have Diamond membership. MSC site list members plus 1 guest. My assumption is it will cover my wife and I. Leaning toward Teppanyaki Restaurant. How do we book this restaurant in advance of the cruise without paying for it ? Or do we have to wait until we are on board to make the reservation?
  17. Hi, Sailing on MSC Seashore out of Port Canaveral in mid march of this year . The Easy Plus Package is a free promotion they are running so we accepted it. My in laws had mentioned last time they were on MSC they got a hard time getting bottle water while having the beverage package. They said they only allowed them to get it in the MDR. Can anyone who's been recently shed any light on any limitations on getting bottle water? Last time we cruised this ship we were on Yacht club and did not have any issues getting bottled water. My assumption is we can get a bottle each at any bar or restaurant we want. From MSC page does not see to mention anything. 18. Post are correct, it was Terminal F. If you book an Uber or Lyft just be sure to tell the driver ship name and they can find it fairly easily for drop offs. For pick ups (Disembark) its listed on the columns with number. Just message your driver after requesting a ride the column number you are at.
  19. We were on Seashore last week. We were told it was about 70% capacity. Expect that this numbers will increase over time and demand returns. Most Covid related protocols on board dropped. I think if your looking for empty ship in June you may be disappointed. With that I will add, we were in the Yacht club and did not fill completely full as there were plenty of chairs in the pool deck. Only time it felt busy was at Ocean Cay House for lunch and sea days at the pool buffet. Usually cleared out fairly quick after 1pm. Hope that helps!
  20. Traveling MSC and traveling MSC Yacht Club are 2 completely different experiences. I felt like I was not even on an MSC cruise. We have been on Disney, RCL, Princess, Holland, NCL, Celebrity, MSC non YC and MSC YC. If you haven't heard it enough from others I'll add my 2 cents MSC YC can't be compared to other lines. Now I am not sure if we can go back to regular MSC experience.
  21. As others have posted. If you are in the Yacht Club, there is a private part of the island just over the bridge that is for YC members only. You are escorted there by cart and dropped off in front of the Ocean House. The picture posted on the 2nd post is how the Ocean house looks. The food is included as well as same drinks you are entitled to in the YC bars and Lounge on the cruise ship (Though they do not bring all wines, beers and liquors off). I attached the menu from this past week of Seashore at the YC Ocean House that is on Ocean cay. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and Blue YC towels provided. You can also order drinks at the beach but it does take some time to receive them as they have to run back and forth from the Ocean House to retrieve them. The beach is not great for the YC when we went. There lots of rocks and coral on the beach. There 2 other beach short walk from Ocean House that are in my option better but they did not have service, umbrellas or chairs setup. It baffles me that they did not setup at one of these beaches instead. If I had to guess they wanted to as close to Ocean house as possible to fetch drinks. Why not have a cooler on the beach with beer in it for easy access? Just a thought. Let me know if there are any other questions. Yacht-Club-OCEAN-HOUSE-Ocean_Cay_Menu.pdf
  22. YC Dinner Menu's My tip: We requested Indian food several nights in addition to trying items off the YC dining menu. We have done this on many cruises with various cruise lines before as many of the chefs are either Indian or very good at cooking Indian food. We got a lot of curious stares but the Indian food was fantastic! Would not hesitate to ask for it. YC_DINNER_DAY2.pdf YC_DINNER_DAY4.pdf YC_DINNER_DAY5.pdf YC_DINNER_DAY6.pdf YC_DINNER_DAY7.pdf
