Please, please tell me the name of the taxi company you used at Roatan! We've used Bodden tours 3 times, but really just want to get to West Bay beaches, no island tour needed.
I don't remember the name of the company, but just go out where all the tours are sold and just say that you want to go to West Bay beach. They will find you van that will take you along with the other that want to do that. One time we were lucky and got a taxi just for 2 and it cost us $25 to get West Bay beach. We went to Mayan Princess.

1:25 AM ET - Viking Crown showing signs of life.
No, seriously.
Enjoying your review so far. Your late night adventures are cracking me up.

They definitely have Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper onboard the Liberty.. Some bars have the cans and some just have the 2-liters and pour from that.
But if you want to take a 12-pack of DDP, just put it in a plastic bag (from the grocery store) and take it onboard. It will not be confiscated.

We disembarked from Allure this morning and highly recommend using the Mobile Passport App! Right now it only works in Port Everglades. Saved us well over an hour...just breezed through!
We tried it in December, but wouldn't work.:o Our daughter tried it (on the same cruise) and it worked;)

Yes, it will go towards your order of food and beverages.

So, we've used Luggage Valet before but never with Southwest.
My question is... If we paid for Priority Boarding, will our boarding passes issued with Luggage Valet reflect this? ... or do we address this once checked in at the airport?
We used the SWA luggage valet in Dec on the Harmony. Worked perfectly. We ended up with B boarding passes.

We ate in the CK (coastal kitchen) twice during the week for dinner. Excellent service and food both nights. I loved the Coastal Kitchen.

Wondering what you thought of the IQ. I've heard mixed things about it. Did you pay for the up-charge and use it for texting/chatting?
Where did you go on embarkation day for lunch?
Thanks
We were on the HOTS last week, also. Our family of 5 paid the upcharge for texting/chatting and it worked beautifully all week. Well, worth the $7.95 charge for us.

Just got off yesterday and like you our Grease show was cancelled. We got notifications though. I booked 2 different times and dates and both were cancelled. But on Day 7 (Friday) there was a 4:30 show and we got in with no problems. I'm sure your family will be able to see Grease. It is a great show.

That's unfortunate, because a JS is a Sea Class suite and dinner at CK is listed as a perk:
http://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Suites/16049781_RSC_Trade_Flyer.pdf
Going to be very disappointed if this happens to us in 10 days. We were told JS get access to the dinner only in CK.

Mine was done correctly. 30% off of $61 then added the 18%. 7 days on Harmony will equal $352.70.
That is what it should be. Why can't the RCL D+ desk get it right.
-
Hi anyone know how much the drink package is on board the ship. Also would like to know in the print out for the perks for Diamond+ are they offering 30% off the drink packages.
I would like to know what the price onboard the HOTS is also. I'm getting conflicting prices. D+ desk said it was $60 a day.....????

niksmom - on the Mobile Passport ap...does each person have to download the ap or is just one person in the cabin?
-
Looking forward to your review. I'll be on the Eastern HOTS in 30 days!

They DO!!! At the Coca-Cola fountains there are like 5 different flavors including Diet Dr Pepper. :)

I have not sat down since 11:45am. I went to Nassau and toured the Warwick Resort which is amazing!! They are a new resort on Paradise Island. All Inclusive Adults Only. They offer Day Passes through Resort for a day. As an agent that 90% cruises its great to tour before recommending but I would highly recommend. Anyway, so after the tour I had to run over to Marina Village to get some Watermelon sour chewy candy that my sisters wanted. Then back on the ship to finish these cabin tours. These cabins were all over this ship. I step off the elevator and look at the sign to find the room and it never failed it was on the complete opposite of where I was. Of course you are I think in my head. Collected some more pins and it's now 4:04pm and I'm grabbing a snack and Dr Pepper at the Pizza Place on Promenade. I do like the freestyle Soda machines they have about 20 different soda combinations. I would buy the package when I cruise again. We got a call before we left the ship that we got our Wonderland Rescheduled to tonight at 6pm so I will finish up and then go rest and freshen up for dinner.

Are you telling me that they have Dr. Pepper on the HOTS???? Do they Diet Dr. Pepper?
-
Hapster85 - the Liberty has been serving Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper since they came to Galveston. They were informed by the Navigator that Texas folks love the DP and DDP:D

There were no planners for the two weeks in June that we were on LB. I missed that as the ice shows were scheduled differently than when we were on her in Dec. So not all shows are at the same time for every cruise. Can anyone tell me if the ice shows are currently one evening and the last day afternoon?
July 10-17 sailing - there were 2 shows on Saturday (July 16th). Times were e 2pm and 4pm
-
We had a party of 9 (this was 4 different cabins and families). We all linked together and had no problems getting the same table and time every night. We had My Time Dining. We did call and had RCL link us together prior to getting on the ship (Liberty).
-
Just got off the Liberty July 17th - we did walk-off (self-assist) departure. We are D+ and not in a suite. We simply left our cabin (Deck 8) and went to the Michelangelo Lounge Deck 4. We were there by 6:45 and had to line up with our luggage around the dining room wall. They started letting us off at 7:30. This was the easiest debarkation that we ever experienced. We were in our car and on the road by 8:00 a.m.

My understanding is that the construction materials from the new slides are out on that porch. ;)
That is correct. The outside area of the Diamond Lounge on the Liberty is totally shut off due to the construction materials. It could be temporary, but who knows. I don't see RCL getting that whole tidal wave thing fixed anytime soon.
-
I didn't realize that! I thought it had a new opening date in June. At least the slides are still there!
Yes, the slides are still there and in operating order.

The truth about Voom.
I met with a three stripe IT manager on the Liberty and was told only ships built in 2010 or later plus the Enchantment and Freedom will have the O3b service true Voom. Everyone else, it's the high orbit satellite. So, as of now there it is.
Also, when I purchased the Voom package from the cruise planner, it was the surf package (garbage). Surf and stream was not mentioned or offered. So, If you want the surf and stream you need to wait until you board and then get the surf and stream package. I immediately upgraded to the best package and report on its performance later in the cruise.
Thank you so much for reporting this information. We found the same thing on last week's cruise on the Liberty.....it is really NOT Voom.

I can definitely speak for the Liberty of the Seas (just got off). It started May 1st - and D+ were no longer allowed in the "suite lounge". Only suite guests and pinnacle members. All Diamond and Diamond Plus guests had to squeeze into the DL. In the DL they also started a new concept of swiping your card every time you ordered a drink. It was a mess. I felt sorry for the bartenders. We always had to stand in line to get our drinks.
The Diamond Lounge Concierge did allow us to take our drinks out to the Viking Crown Lounge where it was crowded, also.
Liberty WJ with caviar and lobster tails!

The lobster tails and the shrimp on the LOS was so good in the WJ. I can't believe how big those shrimp were. I ate my share!:D
