  1. I believe I read where Coco Beach Club has some pastries available in the morning on Coco Cay. You would need to purchase the pass or a cabana at Coco Beach Club to enjoy those morning pastries.
  2. Thanks to everyone for your responses. I wasn't sure, and I appreciate your knowledge!
  3. I just noticed that my cabin on Independence of the Seas sailing October 24, 2022 is now about $200 cheaper than when I booked. If I call Customer Service, can I request the price difference be put on my Onboard Credit? Or am I just out of luck? Thanks for any clarity you can provide!
  4. I'm getting the same message. The only thing I could figure may be happening is that I just recently booked this cruise and perhaps my reservation is not in the system yet?
  5. I was also able to print my Set Sail Pass but I had to change my browser from Chrome to Microsoft Edge. If you are still having trouble printing your Set Sail Pass, you may want to try that if you use Chrome.
  6. Yes, it took quite a long time to book it with "customer service" but I finally was able to get the job done, so we have a cabana awaiting us at Coco Cay. Now my next problem is that I can view or print my Set Sail Pass for our October 24th cruise on Independence of the Seas. Oh, Royal, won't you please update your IT department?!
  7. Thanks everyone, I'm on the phone now making the reservation for the Coco Cay cabana. I appreciate your help!
  8. I noticed this morning that the Coco Cay Lagoon Cabanas were priced at $499 for my 10/24 Independence of the Seas 4 day cruise and wanted to book that right away but I keep getting a message "Currently unavailable, but we're working on it". Now I'm able to book dining packages but not able to book any Coco Cay excursion. Anyone else having that issue? Thanks for any help!
  9. I'm trying to check in to my November 7th cruise and can't do it on either the app or my laptop.
  10. Glad to know it's just not me! I'm trying to check in to my November 7th cruise and this website is just not cooperating. Last night I was looking up other cruises and the website said there were no cruises during that time frame - YIKES!
  11. We decided to cancel. I called RC and at first was told that all the engines are working and everything is fine. I replied that I received an email from RC telling me that 2 engines are not working which was why they cancelled some of the ports. With that, the lady responded that I was right and said I am entitled to a full refund back to my credit card. I also canceled my flight with Delta and received a future credit usable until 12/31/23. I wish you all well, we are now figuring out a cruise to take in the Caribbean for this fall. The weather in Ketchikan for next Wednesday looks like it could be spectacular. Please enjoy and stay safe!
  12. LibraryLady19, I don't know about you but I'm seriously concerned about our upcoming cruise on this ship. We are to leave tomorrow for Seattle but I have such a bad feeling about the Quantum. Have you given any thought to cancelling? Would Royal Caribbean allow us to move our cruise to another time? I would love to know if everything is truly under control on board, that would make me feel more confident about continuing on with this September 5th cruise.
  13. Solarium Bistro has reappeared on the Royal app for our cruise on Quantum September 5-12. I guess it could just be a glitch in their programming?
  14. DaKahuna, that is an interesting letter you received asking you and your wife to go to the Solarium Bistro for dinner tonight. Strangely, the Solarium Bistro is no longer appearing on the Royal app for the week of my cruise, September 5-12. I would be interested in your impression of the Solarium Bistro if you and your wife decide to go. Enjoy your day.
  15. Me too! I just packed and my suitcase only weighs 44 pounds. I am so thrilled! On another note, I am loving all the food porn pictures. You are doing a great job, DaKahuna, of getting us excited about our cruise next week.
  16. Thanks DaKahuna for your response and I look forward to your upcoming reports, especially any news on the Solarium. I noticed in a couple of your food pictures, a glimpse of your wife, and she was wearing a jacket in Coastal Kitchen. I will be doing likewise as I hate to be cold. Thanks again for the temperature updates. Enjoy your day!
  17. My husband and I are in a Grand Suite next week on Quantum so your review is just what we needed. Please let me know more about what the temperature is like on board. You mentioned it was warmer than you expected. I had not planned on packing shorts but perhaps I should? I'm loving seeing the food from Coastal Kitchen. We have not heard much about whether CK food is much better than the Main Dining Room. Also we are very interested in your opinion of the Solarium and the Solarium Bistro. Is it difficult to get a lounger in the Solarium in the morning? On my Royal app, under Dining, the Solarium Bistro no longer is showing. Is it possible they are closing the Solarium Bistro during the September 5th cruise? Thanks for your excellent review so far of your cruise. I'm really enjoying your commentary and photos!
  18. Thanks for your review. How was the food in the MDR? Did you do any specialty restaurants? Did you see any of the shows, were any especially interesting?
