For the most part, today is the same as it's always been, pre-pandemic but it's failed to improve/innovate (besides starlink internet which hasn't yet been deployed to all ships yet). During the pandemic, many did things they haven't done before including food delivery/take out from top rated restaurants and visit all inclusive land based resorts with fast internet, gourmet food (at some places) lots of entertainment. X has improved the internet but not the food quality or entertainment. 1) Internet, kudos to starlink, this will forever change cruising. 2) Food quality, needs to improve all across the board, Le Voyage isn't even getting good reviews. 3) Entertainment, shows are well done but often you have 6 nights of musicals on a 7 night sailing, we need more options in the day time on sea days and more variety; I for one would love if followed in their sister lines footsteps and had a nightly comedian in addition the main show and actual name brand (Cats, Mama Mia, etc) broadway shows.

Speculation based on a coincidence, someone posted on here something like “told no drinks in the retreat, thought it was All included?” The thread got hot and magically cruise only fares disappeared. They eventually reappeared for the lower categories only. In part thanks to move up, most sailings are nearly-completely selling out their suites.

Just a FYI/datapoint…While it’s a different atmosphere, many have said Virgin Voyages beats Oceania in taste and it has a huge selection. Branson knows good food and hired a team of a chefs who worked at Michelin starred restaurants to develop the recipes. I’ve personally haven’t been on either cruise line.

Like it or not, X has partnered with starlink which should be huge improvement with speed especially with congestion at peak times. It's up to you if you want to mine bitcoin, disconnect or somewhere inbetween -

Sounds like 1-3 are validated. I'll comment on your #4 claim. Many say otherwise and post actual proof of it. Non-Starlink X's internet is usually well under 2 during the day and well below 1 during peak times. -
Starlink on Beyond, a disappointment.

1) Starlink seems to remove any limitations 2) 25-50% of the ship is retired 3) You falsely assume teleworking is always using a lot of bandwidth and while it can, folks streaming long videos or FaceTiming friends/family can use far more bandwidth. 4) Princess figured out a way to remote any limitations, they actually advertise you can telework: “remote working, distance learning and the opportunity to securely conduct important transactions available, all while enjoying the most picturesque video conference backdrop on the horizon, thousands of miles from home.” -

My comment had several full sentences and didn’t start with a pointless/lazy “whatever”. I’ll reiterate my overall point of (within the rules) anyone is free to vacation the way they want to vacation. I’ll make this offer to any passenger, if they want throw their phone overboard, using my phone I’ll film it for free -

Some don’t understand when you try to force your vacation preferences on others, you could be making them miserable. Ha ha -

Lol, this comment literally adds zero value to the conversation. Not everyone is retired, in fact we have to work to hopefully one day retire with a nice nest egg. Here's the best way to describe it, if I'm able to be connected and can work a little, I can take more cruises. Otherwise I need to exhaust all my vacation days and when I eventually re-connect, I often spend 4-10x the amount of time replying to emails as I try to determine what needs to be done and what has already been done. I have no problem with people living their best life whether that's disconnecting or be connected; ultimately I want my fellow passengers to be the happiest they can be. -
I still don't have the option. Am booked through the BCC/Casino and it wouldn't be surprising if the BCC is like a TA where you can only call in.
-
I don't see the option at all for an EXISTING booking, may need to call

You're shooting from the hip for some reason. 1) A "shift position" is called Debris Avoidance Maneuvers (or DAMs) which are not uncommon as space is a violent place and unexpected space debris can appear at any time. 2) The Chinese Space Station or CSS is a different space station than the ISS 3) The U.S. Space Force’s 18th Space Control Squadron found no evidence of a close approach by either Starlink satellite to China’s space station that met “the threshold of established emergency collision criteria,” thus “emergency notifications were not warranted in either case.” Had such approaches met those criteria, “the United States would have provided a close approach notification directly to the designated Chinese point of contact.” -
You can upgrade just one person...It may vary by ship but they usually offer a 24 hour pass
-
They must be pulling your chain. I asked a third person just now who said something like “Of course Celebrity pays our flights, all of us can’t afford a last minute expensive flight”
-
The real question is, does X typically pay the crew’s airfare to the agency?
-
I’m on the Millie now and just asked two crew members during breakfast, both said X pays for their flights both from their home country to the ship and back. As stated, many of lower behind the scene crew that you never see couldn’t afford their plane ticket. You’re welcome to post a source to your claim but it just doesn’t make sense.

Cruise lines pay to get them from their home country to the ship, many couldn’t afford the airfare

It’s inevitable the internet cost will continue to rise; they would have done this even if they didn’t have a deal with Starlink. The hope is the costs do not exponentially increase. -
