3040 will ether have Muster Station A in the theatre or Muster station B in the photo gallery

It is relaxing to stay on board when the ship is in port especially one that you have been to many times . Like having no crowds at the Oceanview. The only draw back is the reduction in service when the crew has a emergency drill. Shops and casino are not available in port but some ports have a huge shopping area right beside the ship. ( in Japan shops and casino remain closed all day even after leaving port).
The best part is having the pool deck empty as there are less chances of chair hogs

I am a person with Autism and find that the expedited check in is a real big help to get on the ship with minimal lines. Also the special needs team will come by about 15 min before muster. They will advise to head down. If he is sensitive to loud noise bring earplugs as the alarm is loud

Navigator had it before the dry dock not sure if they still do it as she will do mostly short cruises now

The quality and variety of the food may come down to the management and chef. I was just on Splendor and found that the food was not good. May be isolated to that ship. .

They may be having a coast guard inspection

In Miami there is a sign saying no large bags permitted in the terminal all large bags must be given to the porters. In Vancouver they even unload your bags from. The car for you only if you are on a 1 night cruise do they allow large bags to be carried on and I saw people putting TVs and toasters thru the scanners which are big enough to handle checked luggage. It is a A nuisance to inspect a checked bag at the checkpoint . That is why they likely don’t allow large bags to be carried on

One thing I found on Navigator in April is that when they run out of silver cards. They will give a blue card. And sabor is the least busy of the specialty restaurants and will be replaced with a seafood restaurant in the next dry dock. If you want a seat at a bar before dinner get there early as they all seem to be full. The pub on the promenade seemed to be the least busy one except when a event takes place on the promenade look inside for seats as the promenade ones go fast

Savour and taste have the same menu as the Manhattan room. The only restaurant I did not go to was Ocean Blue the pool deck was busy sometimes but did not feel overwhelming crowded like some other ships I been on. In fact it did not feel crowded around the ship at all so was hard to notice that 4000 were on board. For the elevators I found the forward ones to be worse and found it easier to use the aft ones. Destination dispatch would help as not all elevators in one bank go to all decks and is annoying when the elevators stops at a deck and the person waiting gets in the one on the other side as each button has only 4 of 8 elevators tied to it

This is the second Hurricane in the Mexican riviera this month . The October 5 sailing had to Cancel Mazatlan and go to Cabo 1 day early as Hurricane Sergio would have been in the way if we were in Cabo as originally Scheduled. The Captain announced the change when we arrived in to Peurto Vallarta

They have been replaced with regular bliss mugs

Taking the straw off and throwing it away totally defeats the purpose of the straw ban in which is to REDUCE the amount of single use plastic that is tossed

Warnemuende Also has issues with dense fog. I was on regal in May and the ship was delayed arriving as the port was closed till 9 am. All the Berlin tours were cancelled as a result and departure was delayed by the same amount of time as the arrival delay to allow passengers to enjoy the same amount of time ashore

I found the windjammer to be better on Navigator then the mdr. One line even had the selection the mdr has. I enjoy it when it is less crowded explorer had a great dinner aswell

I found the Windjammer was better then the mdr in quality and not as much upsell pressure for the specialty restaurants in the wj as there was in the mdr. Mdr staff would interrupt your conversation during dinner To advertise their restaurant package while wj just had a sign on the table . Sabor was not busy and was good

Jewel is still in port in Vancouver as of 8:30. Port schedule says it was to leave at 4. Does anyone know what happened

This one is Navigator of the seas looking down to the Royal promenade from deck 9 by the Concierge lounge or deck 10 above it

Deck 4 of freedom class has the photo gallery between the Boleros and the casino. In the extra length as well as a additional staircase to the royal promenade Independence has replaced this with Playmakers sports bar and arcade and also removed the stairs in that location

I have seen it done as a silent auction. I tried to get it but the auctioneer changed to a live auction after the guy that sat beside the bid sheet that would bid after someone bidded complained that I was going to be the last bid. After the switch I ran it up to 3x what it was at the switch and he was stuck paying that high amount

The Seattle based ships that stop in Ketchikan leave between 1 and 3 pm to allow time for the stop in Victoria on the way back. They all stop there on the way back to avoid having to do cbp in Alaska as doing cbp in Seattle is way easier and there are proper facilities for it

The only time first seating might be rushed are on sailings when muster drill is between the dinner seatings. That usually happens on radiance when it leaves Seward

On Regal non ***** cabins have a good coloured Panel behind the mailbox where the screen is for ***** cabins

Oceankaj is where regal docks as the other dock is designed for day calls. There are 3 identical buildings there is signage indicate which building regal be at . You will enter the building and drop off your luggage (there May be a line for this and you have to put the bag on the belt yourself . If you need tags the counter is just outside the door after bag drop Your walk to the other end of the building where you will clear security and check in. As there is no overhead gangway you will board from the dock level With the forward cabin is using the forward gangway and aft cabins using the midship gangway signs will indicate which gangway is closer to your cabin. Once on the ship a elevator will be waiting to take you up. If you want to move between decks after boarding I recommend using the aft elevators As most elevators Forward and mid are blocked for embarkation expect only 1 or 2 open on these banks. Unlike other ships in the fleet regal uses crew elevators for luggage handling instead of the aft elevator bank only one elevator in forward bank is blocked in Germany and Russia when passengers embark there. I arrived at about 1230 And found lines to be short except for the baggage drop line. That was the longest line I encountered on the embarkation. Disembarkation and finding a taxi was easyBe aware that princess will send a letter around warning people taxis are hard to find here that was not true as I saw a continuous stream of taxis arriving at the Port they are trying to sell their transfer by using scare tactics

I was on the Navigator and got the annoying hard sales . I was in a Junior suite and also noticed every one was getting it. It even happened in the regular seating area for the windjammer. I did not see the person selling go in to the suite seating area in chops
Collecting Seapass cards at end of cruise?

I only had independence ask for it back when I was b2b when the apass was malfunctioning The old one stops working at the time they have b2b punch out for the zero count or when you meet to punch out on the old and punch in on the new which Indy did when in Southampton. The freestyle machine grace period on the other hand can be ridiculously long . I did a b2b on freedom in which the grace period was the length of the second leg. If that happened with a old seapass there would be a major issue
