If you arrive earlier it will be a shorter wait. on 3 ship days It is CBP that slows down the process. they will only allow 50 passengers at a time in line. Edgewater hotel and Seattle Marriott Waterfront are both walking distance to pier 66

For the Hyatt and Hilton ask for the highest floor possible also with the Hilton it is directly in line with pier 18 and pier 2. If there is a princess ship in it may block the view of 18 . The Hyatt does not have that issue

I did Indy last year and had a good time. When a time Change occurred it was at 2 am. If you have a stop at a us port before ft lauderdale US Immigration will be done onboard and it may take a while.
