  1. I booked a sail away cabin from U.K. and got all inclusive, confirmed in writing and verbally. All cruises from U.K. are all inclusive no matter what category of cabin

Thanks so much for responding, did you book online yourselfor through NCL agent?

Made a big difference hearing this to my consideration of booking a cruise.:)

  2. I checked this for a friend who was considering cruising with us.

The sailaway rate under the new premium AI does include the same premium all inclusive as "regular" bookings do. You just don't get to choose your cabin its allocated for you.

Hi please can I asked did you friend go on to book, and does it show premium AI included.? I am so confused with this, I asked an agent she said it does include drinks etc, however I did dummy booking and rate showed noweigan rate" not premium all inclusive.

  3. hi everyone, I have checked threads won here re the sailaway price and what it means, and my understanding from here is that it doesn't include the premium all inclusive ( U.K.) price.

I contacted NCL to enquire about a price for cruise, the NCL person gave me a quote for a sailaway option. I asked her about the package and she said "yes it would be all inclusive" I quoted the lines from the webpage. That it doesn't include promotions, and she said "no" it doesn't mean the all inclusive but that it meant we wouldn't get things like the lattitude promotion extra points, or onboard credit. She sounded very sure, but. Have nothing in writing, I haven't booked yet.

I wonder has anyone from U.K. Booked a sailaway price and got drinks package etc included in price.

    Thank you

  4. We were on Jade in 2009 and just got off cruise on jade last week.

Loved the updated Jade, loved decor around ship. You will have fab time.

Also been on Epic and spirit, Jade is now my favourite but I didn't like it before as much as I do now.

  5. We travelled on the Epic with infant, and two other children, we were booked in Haven and ate in speciality dining each night, we were dismayed at having to wait for a high chair, we were told there were not many on board. One night we waited almost hour, with fraught child who did not want to sit on parents lap yet was too small to sit on a chair. The result was upset family, wasted time and

Spoiled dining experience not only for us but I'm sure also for others guests trying to enjoy their meal. That was onboard epic about 15 months ago, with full capacity ship at Easter with lots of children on board, I would hope they have now bought more high chairs.

  6. Obviously these things are down to individual interests, but for a first visit to Kotor, I wouldn't be looking at doing anything other than staying in the old town and climbing up the city walls for the views. Kotor is possibly my favourite of all the Med ports for just wandering round. The walls are quite hard work, but well worth the effort.

I don't know much about the Catamaran tour, but it will pass the same places that you will pass when sailing into and out of Kotor. It's a spectacular area to sail through, but you will get plenty of opportunity to see it on the ship. Personally, that would be quite a long way down my list of things to do in Kotor, although of course it may be just right for you.

Kotor is also very easily walkable from the port. The ship literally docks just outside the city gates. It's like they have just parked it up there. Dubrovnik, on the other hand, requires a taxi or shuttle bus ride to get to the old town (although this is also well worth doing). It is a bigger town, and another of my favourites.

These are my favourite ports of call, we did all of them on our own and all easy ports, I totally agree with post above, kotor just beautiful ship docks right in m Dole of town, in Dubrovnik we jumped on local bus to city, cheap and easy to do bought tickets to walk the wall. But equally nice to just walk the city. In Mykonos again ship was tender to port, and was in Mykonos town, walked the town and then caught local local bus to paradise beach, it was lovely but in hindsight would have probably stayed in Mykonos town. In santorini, we gir of ship, literally few steps to cable station to take you to the top and the town, you can walk up steps or get donkey ride personally I wouldn't, town lovely and great views from top

In Corfu we got local bus to town, didn't take long, very very easy and nice beach or town to explore.

Fabulous ports of call, I would repeat in a heartbeat. Enjoy

  7. can anyone help me understand please. I have only done one RCI cruise but am a C& A member, my family have never cruised with RCI before, we have all booked a cruise together and so I thought I would qualify for C& A offer of 25$ per cabin for each friend or family member who travels on same date, same cruise as me.

We have booked 5 cabins, I have tried to claim as it would give me 100$ OBC

However I have just been told I don't qualify because booked through TA.....any ideas anyone?
