  1. Depends on the TA. Their information says some TA bookings are marked do not upgrade due to how it’s booked. I assume pricing.
  2. Did you book through a TA. If so, the upgrade offer was sent to them and they should forward it. Call if they don’t. Also, you need to have Princess ok’d for promotional information be sent to you, or you won’t get the upgrade email if you booked directly.
  3. BTW the bid can be less than highest amount shown. The bidding slider moves forward as you slide it and the bidding amount increases as you do until you hit the maximum end of the meter.
  4. The TA gets it and either forwards or contacts you about it. If you book with Princess directly, the email comes to you without middle man.
  5. Thanks to all that replied. I was looking aft because of the description and turns out they are forward. Not a location I think is worth the extra $$
  6. Thank you. They are forward on deck 17 and I was looking aft because that’s what the description said. I could not find aft Vista category cabins. what deck did you see stern Vista cabins?
  7. No category numbers, just general descriptions, penthouse suite, vista suite, mini suite, club class minis suite, etc
  8. This must be a generic email then. The description says they are aft but I didn’t find any on Discovery’s deck plans.
  9. We just got the upgrade offer to bid email for our November Mexico cruise on Discovery. It lists a Vista Suite as one of the options but I can’t find a Vista Suite on the Discovery deck plans. Did they make a mistake or use a generic upgrade listing but this ship doesn’t have Vista suites?
  10. We got same upgrade offer and we currently have a gty booked for premium balcony. We are going to stick with our gty. I’ve paid enough for this cruise and I don’t want to get stuck being upgraded to a forward cabin I don’t like. Of course, I could be assigned one through our gty booking, but at least I won’t have paid extra for the forward misery.
  11. As you said, nobody knows how it works but I see a lot of assumptions on this thread written like it’s fact. It’s like booking a guarantee, you take your chances or not bid and be satisfied with what you booked.
