I am looking to book an obstructed cabin on the Caribbean Princess.
Does anybody have a picture or recommendation of a cabin?

My DD's had E701 obstructed oceanview on the Crown this past week. I don't have pictures but there had NOTHING in front of the picture window. If you looked to the far right a couple of cabins away from E701 you could see a white metal wall but NOTHING in front of E701.. They paid for an obstructed cabin but got a oceanview cabin. Highly recommend this cabin.

I have searched the Southwest site and can't find the place where they tell when they will open up the next segment of travel dates. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
They are releasing the next dates May 26 up to Jan 6, 2012.

Southwest opened their flights to November 4 today.
Their next update is May 26 for flights to January 6, 2012.

Southwest will open their flights for Sept 30-Nov 4/11 on March 14.

The ship does offer post cruise excursions going to FLL and MIA. These excursions are only offered once on board. You submit the form and a couple of days later, they tell you if there are enough passengers wanting it, to have the excursion. The bus holds your luggage until you are dropped off at the airport usually around 1-2pm. It is a nice way to waste time instead of waiting at the airport. I have taken it a couple of times.
I don't know if you or your TA contact RCI and asking if they would have a post cruise excursion for that many of people or if they could make one for your group?

Southwest opened up new dates today.
I found that Air Tran was cheaper than Southwest for Buffalo, NY to Orlando Aug 21-27 non stop.

For Southwest will open Feb 8 for travel up to Sept 30.

Great to read all of the questions and fantastic responses-very nice site at CC!
Questions: We are booked in December for a cruise B2B with Princess-it departs out of FLL. We will arrive 2 days before embarkation and stay a day after we return.
Would you fly into FLL or Miami?
If money were not a problem-where would you stay pre and post cruise?
we are only 2 adults-late 50's-have stayed in the past at 17th street at Amerisuites which we did not care for[liked the Embassy across the street].
My DS loves the beach and to be pampered.-like westin/Ritz/etc.
My flight into MIA will be cheaper but will probably break even with transportation to FLL for the hotel/port.
Looking forward to hearing back ;)
The Amerisuites is now the Hyatt Place North.

Has anybody been in E701 on the Crown? It looks like there is nothing outside to block the view.

I got Hyatt Place South on Hotwire for $62 for April 15 1 night.
Is there anything to do or eat around there?
-
Has anybody been on Crown E218 or E219. They look like are between lifeboats.

We are staying April 15 in Ft Lauderdale. Has anybody used Priceline for that date or around that date? If so, what did you bid?

From the Princess brochure, isn't R747 a balcony cabin?
It looks like the balcony is bigger than the others on the deck, is it?

Last year, we used http://www.ridesas.com 954-600-0240 from FLL to Port of Miami and it was $15/pp.

We will be flying into FLL the morning prior to our cruise on Emerald Princess. Is there any descent hotels in safe areas that has a shuttle pick up at the airport to their hotel and then a shuttle to the pier? Would the hotel be close to restaurants?
We just returned from the Emerald on Sunday.
We stayed at the Hyatt Place North. Free shuttle to/from hotel/airport/port, free continental breakfast and there are restaurants within walking distance.
Have a great time.

Does Courtney Taylor have a web site?

Does anyone know if the pub lunch is available on the Sapphire Princess for the Mexican Riviera Cruise?
Also, is it included or are the pub lunches the extra charge meals? Thanks for any help you can give me on this.:)
There is no extra charge for the Pub lunch.

We had the Pub lunch on the Grand. I was surprised they did not offer any type of dessert with the lunch.

PHABRIC - what cruise are you on? We are staying at the Rennasaince on 3/27 and going on the Independence of the 28th.

Hi there-
So happy to have stumbled upon this thread!
As you can see in my countdown, I'll be leaving out of FLL on a cruise on 11/28. We'll be coming in on 11/27 and I feel overwhelmed with the hotel search. I don't want to do priceline or hotwire because that would require paying up front and our plans are still not 100% concrete. We are looking for a hotel that has airport and cruiseport shtutles, if possible.
I found good rates for the Hyatt Pier 66 ($118 for garden/double) and the Hyatt Place ($119) via hyatt.com. Are either of these good?
Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.
The Hyatt Place has a shuttle to/from airport/port, continental breakfast and close restaurant, grocery stores.
If that helps.

I did Priceline in June. With Priceline, I " bid " under Downtown Ft Lauderdale, 3 or 4*(cann't remember) for March 27. I had to do a few tries until I bid $100 and received the Hyatt Place with taxes and service fee came to $119.81. Hotel site wants $230.
We have been to this hotel when it was another name. There is a continental breakfast, shuttle to/from airport/port, close to restaurants, and stores.
Go to http://www.biddingfortravel.com will help you get started.

Thanks for the picture. It looks like you get alot of light and a view. I have a choice of E228 or E230 the cabin next to it.
Do you think E230 would have the same view? Did you like the cabin?
