I have read you can get coffee at one of the bars.

Which bar can I get coffee?

Effective Nov 1, tips are increasing on RCL -

- junior suites and below -from $16 to $18

- suites - from $18 to $20.50

They have until Nov 11 to prepay or once onboard will have to pay new rate.

Will Princess increase their rates?

Good to hear about they service.  They replied to all my inquiries by the next day.

I am flying return Toronto to Rome in November.  I asked my friend who is an AC pilot if they are going to strike in November.  He replied “ if they strike, it won’t be until next year, could be like March if they do”.

 I went in 2013 and 2015 on the British Isle cruises.  Edinburgh was a tender port so Glasgow was used to see the Edinburgh Tattoo.  Glasgow port the ship left late around 2am so people could travel to Edinburgh to see the Edinburgh Tattoo.  

I was looking at Aug/Sept 2024 and 2025 British Isles cruises, I do not see where at Glasgow and Edinburgh having late departure.

Is the Edinburgh Tattoo not being offered anymore?

I have a few excursions that start at 7:30am.  Room service starts at 6:30-7, I don’t know if we would get it on time.

I think ordering breakfast from the app might be an idea.

Can you order breakfast from the app at anytime?

Anybody have a picture of the breakfast items available on the app?

Instead of elites filling out a card to select canapés for formal evenings, you have to now call room service to request the only choice which is pralines (which are really 2 chocolate candies and 2 white chocolate candies). 

 

The only way to know to do this is a single line on a sheet with a list of elite information which covers topics from the nightly elite/platinum/suite lounge to the wine tasting event. No ordering card in the cabin.

Out of curiosity as I have never been offered to be compensated to take a later flight, what was offered to you, is there a time period that it has to be used?

I never received our room service breakfast on the last day.  I was up @6am and waited, we finally had to leave the cabin and we grabbed a breakfast sandwich at International Cafe.

When I take pictures from a moving bus , they are blurry.  How do take great pictures?

I have taken National Express from LHR to Southampton a couple of times from terminal 2 and 5.

Check Heathrow website, to see which terminal your plane lands.  Each terminal will tell you where to get National Express.

Purchase your National Express ticket in advance, plan 90 minutes after landing. You can purchase for £5 extra so you can change the time ticket to another bus encase plane late/early.  
 

The sign on the bus will show the last stop on the bus not Southampton so take a note when booking your ticket.

I always ask the driver before I hand my luggage over to him “Is the Coach going to Southampton”.

Once at Southampton National Express station, walk through the building there is a taxi stand.

My Shoppers had only Moderna. I was told they didn’t know when Pfizer was going to be shipped.  I had 5 Pfizer doses before and asked about having Moderna now, she said it is good to mix doses.  I was going to take what they had as we fly Nov 7 to Rome.

On one cruise, we thought we would do muster checkin a little later but well before sail away.  We finally found the area but no muster crew were there.  Once back in a cabin after the evening show, we tried the tv, it only showed the muster information.  I called to Guest Services, he told me you did not do muster check in.  I told him what happen and he changed the tv.

I hand over my carryon ONLY if I don’t have a connecting plane.  I am not sure if carryon handed over at the gate MIGHT not make the connecting flight.

I got my flu on last Tuesday and new Covid booster on Thursday in Toronto at Shoppers Drug store. No appointment, walk-in.
 

Call your drugstore to see they have the new Covid booster as they are receiving daily shipments.  
 

The drugstores all have the flu shots - 65+ and regular and some doctors.

I would get a towel from the pool area the day before.  Sometimes, there are no towels at the exit.

I found the port talks on the ships - 

- Caribbean all about shopping in Island stores, nothing about the Islands

- Europe talks on the different ports, sometimes it might be 2 ports together 

While on a ship, my sister went to the Excursion desk ask about an excursion that was sold out.  She was put on a waitlist.  The day before the excursion, she was notified she had a ticket.

Check at the Excursion desk, as people can cancel up to 24 hrs before the excursion.

There were a lot of protests rallies in Toronto

I wrote to my Canadian agent.  She has not heard or read on Princess about cancelling PVP to Canadians.  She is going to ask her Princess representative.
