  1. Adam would've graduated in 1976; however, since he was the baby of the family, his siblings were more than likely at Christ the King while you were there. His oldest sister, Mary, went on to become a special ed teacher, and his older brothers went on to become NYPD. Coming from a strong Iriish family, his brother Mike played the bagpipes for NYPD.
  2. Thank you, @GTO-Girl! Well, that sure answers my question! Sure doesn't make any sense to park there after all!
  3. Thank you! Do you remember which Hampton Inn? Or is there only one near the Port?
  4. Do any of these hotels have where you can leave your car at the hotel while you are on your cruise? Just curious 🤔
  5. Awesome!!! I wish I had half of your energy! You both have some stamina to hike the way to the top...those stairs, though....
  6. Our daughter Melanie played Varsity Basketball and played a game against Christ the King back in the 80's in your gym. Melanie had possession of the ball, and a girl from CK in trying to get it, wound up on Melanie's back; our Staten Island newspaper photographer got a great picture of the two of them!! One of the teachers I worked with in SI was a graduate of Christ the King, as was our good friend Adam. Adam is younger than me by about 10 years, but he comes from a large family, and he was the baby...I wonder if you would possibly know any of them.. some of his siblings were Mary, Abby, Mike, Terry, and at least one other sister (I'm having trouble remembering her name). I mean, because, it truly is a small world after all!!😉
  7. Happy Heavenly Birthday to your Mam.❤️ I've never seen it either. Wait .how did you know how old I am? Lol!!!😳 Here also!!
  8. Having never seen Monty Python, you've whet my curiosity; will have to find one of their movies 😉. After having done my cleaning for the day, sitting here listening to a Beatles Album while perusing our Dani thread. Have a great day, everyone!
  9. Back in the '60's, I had taken my 2 young nieces to Turtle Back, and a camel began delivering her baby. The workers tried to get everyone away, but we all stayed and watched the birth. Amazing experience!
  10. @bobmacliberty The only zoos I've been to are the Bronx Zoo (biggest), Turtleback Zoo in NJ,(much smaller), and the Staten Island Zoo. (smallest)😁 Oh, and Disney's Animal Kingdom....but that doesn't count!! Your pictures really are beautiful from your day at the Zoo.
  11. Graham, I'm sorry that you must wait a year for your hip operation. Did the Dr give you an exercise program to follow, as you requested?
