  1. I have the same concerns about reservations with our 5 night package for our cruise this winter. Recent Harmony cruisers have said that specialty dining has filled up on the first day. I'm amazed since we've never had any problems making reservations' date=' even mid-cruise, and have never seen a full specialty restaurant. Maybe it will revert to the past normal with future cruises, but who knows.

A recent cruiser on Harmony suggested using the Royal IQ app as soon as you get on the ship (either on your phone or at one of the kiosks in the Royal Promenade). I don't know if that would be any faster than going to one of the restaurants, but I think it might be. Just thought I would pass it on.

If you remember, perhaps you can post how it went and whether you were able to get the reservations you wanted.

    Good luck![/quote']

Thanks I saw the same info about the app just not 100% sure how that would work exactly with the pre purchased packages.

  2. Hi all! We leave on the Harmony this Saturday (woohoo!!!) and have purchased the 5 nt specialty dining package. Once on board can we go to any specialty restaurant to set up our reservations for the week? And can anyone who has sailed the Harmony and had this 5 nt package comment on whether they had any issues booking the restaurants they wanted? I am a big planner so this is different for me not being able to actually know that I will get the ones I want. Thanks in advance!! :D:)

  3. I will when I get home. Matt is usually 100% correct.

I think I have 20 of them already. Here are a few random ones.

    - don't eat the chilli at Johnny Rockets

    - if you do, don't use the bathroom at the Aqua Theatre.

    - Royal Caribbean needs to add sound proofing to the Aqua Theatre washroom. It isn't well sound proofed.

  4. Personally I plan to go to my room whether it is ready or not to get my set sail pass/key. When I sailed on the Quantum that is what I did, just went to the cabin and got the keycards and went about my way. Not sure about the answers from people telling you to use the set sail pass when your question is about how to get a drink before you have the keycard. Hopefully someone will clarify soon if you can indeed get a drink w/o the card, I just don't see how you would.

  5. We never had any issues being seated outside on the Escape or the Getaway for dinner. Just let them know when you get to the restaurant for your reservation that you'd like to be seated outside and they are happy to accommodate. We never waited for an outside table at any of the specialty restaurants. There actually seemed to be less people outside than inside which was weird to me. We absolutely loved eating outside [emoji4]

  6. We had cabin 12312 on the Escape and it was perfect. Easy up and easy down for dining and such and super quiet. We had two loungers and 2 chairs with a small table and the balcony was huge!!! Would definitely stay in that cabin again. It was also oddly the best I have ever slept on a cruise and our stateroom attendant was AWESOME!![emoji4]
