I'm so confused about the pricing now. Have the terms of Freestyle Choice changed? I'm looking at the Dec 5, 2015 sailing.
I'm trying to do a mock booking for a mini-suite because I'm considering downgrading from the Haven. (HUGE maybe ;) ). I thought mini-suites got a choice of 2? It's only showing codes for the individual options, not pick 2 for mini-suites. Plus a $70 Latitudes OBC. (We would choose the UDP and/or the UBP.) And for the Haven it's only showing $150 OBC. I know it used to be $300. Or is this an additional Latitudes OBC on top of the $300???
I think we got a steal on our H5 by booking early. We squeezed under the wire and got the $300 OBC for booking early and only paid $4245.64 for the two of us, which included the AARP discount. But the Dine, Drink, and Dash special sure is tempting, especially with the the new options on board. But............the current price is $6257.10.
I'd really appreciate any clarification anyone could provide.
Cheers,
Alison
Mini suites only qualify for one of the options not 2. Haven suites get all 3 perks and if are booking Europe you get to select 2 of the Freestyle Choice options.

I'm curious if the craft beers at District Brewhouse will be included in the UBP. Thoughts?
I would think that as long as they are under the $10 price point then yes, but who knows:rolleyes:

Thank you for the response! How are the colours assigned?
The colour groups seemed to be a random selection from each deck, to save congestion when we arrived at The Club to have our life vests fitted, then on out to the boot lockers.
It all ran very smoothly.
I wrote about it at length (on request) in a previous thread

Thank you!:D

So after reading and then re-reading the info on the site (http://www.escape.ncl.com/), am I reading it correctly that Margaritaville's food is complimentary?? OMG amazing!!!
-
Only 328!!!!
-
I really don't know. We got green but don't know what the criteria were.
Ok thanks again, I really appreciate the info!😊👍

You will be allocated to a colour group. Each colour group has a specific embarkation time range - different for each landing. When your colour group is called, you go down to the boot lockers, get your boots on and then follow a marked route to the tenders.
Thank you for the response! How are the colours assigned?

Hello I am trying to figure our what the process is for getting off the Quest to go ashore in Antarctica. How does the whole process work? I read something vague about color grouping? How do they decide who gets off and when? Thanks so much!

They probably added the tip. Not unusual for a car service to do that in my neck of the woods especially with a large group
And the op may have just rounded up when they posted here

I have used SAS multiple times with large groups and they have never added the tip in a quote or rate, it is at your discretion. Since they are a shared shuttle service they charge by person not by group, and you just pay upon drop off.

We are a family of 15 needing transportation from Ft Lauderdale to miami. Does anyone know of a company that may be able to take all of us together? I have tried SAS and felt they were a bit expensive $500 rt.
Why did they quote so much? If you have more than 4 ppl they only charge $13 pp each way which comes to only $390 rt for all 15 of you. Strange that it was so much. Maybe try MJS Transport as an alternative option. They charge $11 pp one way.

We are sailing on the Breakaway in Dec and when I went to book the Ocean Blue the charge was $130, not the $39 listed. When I called NCL they said its a special chef's dinner as chef Geoffrey will be on board.
Should we go for it or try to get the 'chef's table' dinner instead?
Thoughts, opinions??
Hmmm I think I would go for it! :D

$199 per person or per cabin?

We stayed at the Brookshire which was in amazing location walking distance from the Inner Harbor. It also included garage parking while we were on our cruise and transportation to/from the port. Stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely return.

Thank you for posting that!! I have been curious about the disembarkation process on the Getaway and this totally helped me figure out what our group will need to do to get off at the time we need. :D Thanks again!!!!

Thanks guys I believe I found what I am looking for via cruisingpower. I just wanted some concrete confirmation in regards to the dry-dock and this is what I found:
-
Anyone know for sure??
-
Yes, the Allure is going into dry dock after the TA cruise in April 2015. The only reason for the TA and the Med season is the dry dock. The Allure came out in 2010 and has to do her 5 year dry dock in 2015.
steamboats
That was my assumption as well but the RCCL rep claimed (after putting me on a lengthy hold to "check") that since the Allure went into dry-dock last year for repairs to the propulsion system that she wouldn't be returning to dry-dock until 2017. That's why I'm confused now lol.

Makes sense to me. There is quite a gap in their itineraries then.
That's what I thought as well but I have googled myself crazy and cannot seem to find any solid evidence that it is scheduled for drydock next year.
I was just hoping maybe someone had some link to share with me so that I could see that it is going to drydock for sure lol.

Okay so I have read on different threads on here that the Allure is going into drydock next year. I looked at the schedule and it will not be sailing from the end of April through the first part of May after the transatlantic, I would assume that is when the drydock will take place.
However I contacted Royal Caribbean just to inquire as to if it was definitely going to drydock next year because I cannot seem to find any solid evidence that it actually is.
Now I am well aware that the agents at our RCCL are not always correct LOL but the rep that I spoke to said the Allure was not going into dry dock until 2017?? Can anyone confirm at this point that it is definitely going to drydock next year? Thanks so much for any info!! :)

SAS can only pick you up from the Port of Miami if they took you to the Port of Miami. You can book a round trip or one way from FLL to POM.
We have used SAS on the return from POM to FLL without them having brought us to the POM. You can book them either way. They only cannot transport passengers from Miami to Miami destinations. It must be either FLL to Miami or Miami to FLL. But it doesn't matter which one you start in. We have used them going to Miami area hotels from Fort Lauderdale airport the day prior to the cruise and also from the port of Miami back to Fort Lauderdale airport after the cruise. We have never actually used them to take us from Fort Lauderdale airport directly to the port of Miami since we always come in one day pre-cruise. But we always use them to take us to our Miami hotel upon arrival into Fort Lauderdale airport. Have used them both ways with no problems.

We made onboard modifications to our reservations. We were a group of seven and in some cases we had just four or five who made it to dinner. We usually knew a few hours in advance so simply modified the reservations. Because we had an odd number, even our pre-bookings were wrong because online you can only book for even numbers. Everyone on board just rolled with it and it was honestly not an issue.
Enjoy your cruise!
Thank you!!!!!
