Thanks to all who sent their congratulations on the birth of our DGS it means a lot to us! I did not have grandparents, but my parents were fantastic grandparents to our boys and they remember them and miss them very much. I hope Roy is doing better as well as everyone else going through difficult times.

Thanks for the Daily Report! I will happily celebrate International Literacy day! But more importantly Grandparents Day! Our fourth grandchild was born yesterday at 8 lb 2 oz , a beautiful baby boy named Thomas, everyone is happy and healthy. Wishing everyone a wonderful day and sending hope of health and happiness to all.

Thank you for the Anniversary wishes!❤️ Wishing all a wonderful day! We celebrate dogs everyday in our house. We are on baby watch as our 4th grand baby is due any day now. We are all very excited. We will be sticking close to home for the next couple of weeks. Thank you for the Tromso pics, we are doing the Land of the Midnight Sun cruise next June on Princess, our bucket list cruise.

Wishing everyone the best , especially those facing change and health issues. i love hearing about Oliver, Ivan, Fancy, the kitties and all the other pets who mean so much to us. Our little dog Penny went after a groundhog this morning but somehow I was able to call her back. I didn’t even know we had groundhogs around us. We booked the TA last week, there were lots of cabins available. Probably right about the price adjustment.

Hello to everyone! Watched the eclipse from our deck, the temperature dropped very rapidly then total darkness. It was all very cool and over very quickly. Our little pup was totally disinterested, lol. Thanks to all who participate in this thread, a great place to visit.🙂

This is a rare green Christmas for us and Covid canceled my sisters Christmas Eve gathering but the kids and the little Grands will come today for Christmas dinner. It will be crazy but fun! I was also twenty!! Hubby was 23 but raised on a farm in a family of 10 kids so was quite mature and self-sufficient, thank goodness for us, lol

I sure wish some of our rain could go out west. When we went to bed last night my son in Kelowna said they were fine , but keeping an eye on the fire in West Kelowna. All changed this a.m. as @bennybear stated , the fire jumped the lake. My son and his wife are evacuating with the cats. I’m waiting for updates, all these fires are so devastating🙁

We are doing the 8 day Sky Norwegian Fjords next May so looking forward to this review, it’s great so far!🙂

@Seasick Sailor now that Oliver is in good hands, I am sure he will thrive! We took in our Penny on Christmas Eve, she had been tied to a tree in 90deg heat, luckily a Good Samaritan brought her to a rescue where she stayed for 6 months, we agreed to foster her, of course we adopted her within days.😄 She was way underweight but with time and care, she is now thriving!! Rescues are the best!!!

Now we are used to snowstorms, ice storms and thunderstorms, but tornado warnings? Nope. Hubby said come see! Oh heck no, I was sitting on the basement stairs with the dog, lol.
