I think all the debate - yet again - on free internet minutes is a waste of thread space. The internet is so terrible now that free minutes would be gone downloading half a dozen emails and replying to two of them. (on Regal now in Mediterranean and it is brutal)

I think you have that backwards - but there would always have been exceptions. Yes, in general, the old Cruise Personalizer way of choosing Early or Late TD, or Anytime, meant that in most cases, the TD would get full and folks would have to WL and then be in AT dining. Even if the trend has shifted, reducing TD from nearly 50% of the space/time down to 1/3 doesn't seem unjustified

And perhaps the others at the table are also expecting the same table. Not everyone can keep same table if system is random assigning. Your advice to speak with DR staff is the way to go. I hope Princess HQ is hearing from the ships where DMW is not working for them and guests.
