  1. Most cruises have been wonderful and we don't usually encounter any rude people. One time a young couple (late 20's) acted put out when we were seated with them (40's at the time). We wanted the early dining anyway, so we changed. We ended up with a couple in their 70's and a couple our age from Canada. They were wonderful and enjoyed the rest of the cruise...we saw the 70's couple dancing every night! :D
  2. I can sometimes be too sensitive for my own good, but on cruises I could care less about rude people. I just ignore them, unless I feel someone can't take care of themselves. On Freedom in May a huge burley American was sooooo rude to this little guy working in the sandwich line, I had to say something.

I said," I hope you don't think all Americans act that way and you are doing a fantastic job." I looked over at him and said some people are just soooo rude...if looks could have killed, I would be dead for sure. I just can't take it when people are rude to the workers. That is my pet peeve...:(

  3. Jane,

No we are not going to be able to do a back to back, but we will stay in San Juan for two extra days. My DH will retire next year, so we hope we can do them soon!!

We also stayed at the Caribe (in 2007) and had a wonderful time. My husband wanted to take me somewhere after the death of my sister (my only sibling).

I enjoyed all the restaurants, pool areas and beach. It was lovely and enjoyed seeing all the pics of the stars of the past who stayed there. We stayed 5 nights and will go again in the future...
