  1. I get that arguement too and for me I think we will get good use out of the package, particularly now lines are serving Costa coffee etc. Coffee before breakfast, fresh orange at breakfast and I'm sure you're probably not far off Β£8/9 by 9am. If I didn't buy the package I think I would be much more careful about what I drink which may be a good thing but perhaps takes the holiday feel away.
  2. Thank you ☺️. As you say, I'm not complaining about the price of diet coke for my 6 month old, I'm saying that as he will only be drinking milk (not supplied by P&O πŸ˜‚) that he shouldn't have to pay at all. Correct too - Β£10 per day.πŸ‘
  3. I'm not sure with the non-alcoholic packages - I can certainly spend at least the package money on this. At Β£24pppn I found that to be ok value. It would certainly mean a different type of holiday for me as I think I would be more careful about ordering drinks which might be a good thing.
  4. Thank you! Unfortunately this only refers to alcoholic packages where as we were just going to buy the non-alcoholic package. Thank you though!
  5. Just booked my first P&O cruise and went to book a drinks package. I can quite believe it but they're charging Β£10 a day for a soft drinks package....for our 6 month old. I understand adults need to both have the same drinks package, that's the same no matter what cruise line. But to charge a 6 month old for a drinks package seems insane? Is it just me?
  6. We have booked...and found a little snag straight away but will start a new thread for it 🀦 it's always fun getting used to a new cruise line!
  7. It's a canaries cruise ☺️we have to drive from Glasgow to London unfortunately which won't be pleasant and it's quite a long flight to Tenerife too but hoping it'll be worth it
  8. Hi folks, I'm just about to book for my wife, my 6 month old and I to go on Azura on 5th January. Is it a mistake to a 6 month old on a P&O cruise? We've never done P&O and I find it a bit too formal however, the cruise options are limited in Europe and we can go only go in January or March. Ta!
  9. Hi All, I've cruised the Mediterranean quite a few times and been to the usual ports. I'm booking a cruise for March and MSC have 2 that I'm interested in. One covers the normal Med with Naples etc. The other does a bit of the normal then goes to Casablanca, Tangier and Ceuta. Does anyone have any experience of these ports? Are they worth it? Should we stay safe with what we know? We are in our early 30's and at the time of cruising will have a 9 month old baby with us. Thanks!
  10. Hi all, Friend is on EotS next week, first cruise and wondered if they will have to tender anywhere. Stops are Split, Athens, Thira & Dubrovnik. Thanks!
  11. Hi All, We are due our first baby in July this year and would like to book an MSC cruise for March next year. Am I able to book it just now for just my wife and I and then add the baby on when they arrive? Or do I have to wait? Thanks!
  12. Hi all, We're doing a B2B on Eclipse. Trying to get a Blue Mountain Excursion that leaves from the cruise terminal and returns to the cruise terminal for the day of our change over. Celebrity only do a disembarking one (drop off is Airport) and private ones seem to only pick up from hotels in Sydney. Can anyone shed any light? Thank you all!
  13. Yes sorry, check in referred to first check in...bags referred to the turnaround. Big relief over the bags, great news thank you!
  14. Hi all, Sorry 2 more questions πŸ™ˆ. 1. We got our check in time at 3pm... The boat arrives at 6:30am and we would love to check in as early as possible so we're not hanging about. Has anyone had any luck changing check in times? 2. We're doing a back to back and staying in the same cabin. We've not done a B2B before - I'm presuming we will need to disembark but can we leave our bags either in our cabin (same cabin for both sailings) or somewhere in the terminal so we're not carrying them about? Thank you all in advance!
  15. Thanks all! I've got a few extra Q's but they're a wee bit more niche so will pop them in a different post πŸ‘Œ
  16. Sorry, I'm away at the moment and couldn't remember the exact number of days. I'm back home later tonight and will let you know. It's something like 11 nights then 12 nights or vice versa, just wanted the post out πŸ™ˆ
  17. Great info about dinner thanks. We are now fairly used to getting a table for 2 as that's what the most recent ships we've done have given. Should we expect to share a table at dinner with Celebrity? No issues either way, we enjoy both ☺️
  18. 🀣 On Symphony of the Seas we were chatting to guys who stayed up til 5am partying every night.... I was just about wakening up at 5am rather than going to sleep so we are certainly not partiers! Love the info on the Solarium thank you!
  19. Loving these tips - thanks so much folks! Are there any areas of the ship that you wish you had found earlier in your cruise? Or that you thought if you went back you'd make more use of? Thanks again!
  20. Thanks Jelayne, that's super info! Do you do alot on the app? For RCL and MSC everything seemed to be on the app (food menus, drinks menus, show times etc) Thanks!
  21. Hi all, Doing an Australia and New Zealand cruise later in the year on the Eclipse (14 night/2x7 B2B) What are your top tips? Thanks!
