Whoa guys - no need to attack monn_a! Ive read lots of things and I think I could believe these statements. There have been some bad reviews about the service and its not that off par Im sure. Im going to chalk it up to the fact that since this was months ago, MSC was still working out the kinks. It sounds like theyve had a difficult time transitioning since theyve been in the states, but every review I read it sounds like they get better and better. Im going in September and expect nothing less than wonderful :)

Gosh, everyone says something different! lol - We used Victor Bodden and it was great! We really wanted to go to the "hole in the wall" bar and they dove us all the way out there, arranged for a boat to pick us up and hung out a bit. We stopped at a market and picked up some beers while he drove us around and played tour guide. We told him to take us to a place that he likes to eat at and it was jsut the buffet in a local grocery store, but oh my goodness it was good (and cheap). I really felt like he was giving us a great local experience. We did a snorkeling stop and then went to the west end for some beach time (the waters were wonderful). On the way back he stopped by this lady on the side of the road that he buys bread and treats from. I really could not have asked for a better experience and for the price it was phenomenal. HIGHLY recommended

I second CAVETUBING.BZ - we didn the altun ha AND cave tubing with them, they were fantastic!

Well if you havent noticed Cave Tubing is kind of the thing to do but I dont think you can go wrong with whatever you decide!

Did I read correctly that you wore your theme night outfits to MDR dinner? For some reason I only recall getting dressed up for theme nights post dinner. Also, I read in a CC article that says after 6pm Jeans, tshirts and shorts are not allowed in public areas... that just seems crazy! Did you experience that at all? Thanks for your review and any input :)

We've decided to do the blue hole excursion and narrowed it down to Peat Taylor or Courtney Taylor. I've read great things about both companies but haven't been able to find why anyone chose one over the other. I'm sure either would be great but they seem so similar I can't commit to one. Can anyone provided some guidance?

I've been to Mr sanchos before and had a blast! Now going back to coz and the bf wants something nicer. Based on what I read I suggested nachi but don't know what the liquor selection is like. The bf just got back from a fancy Cancun resort where the bottom shelf whiskey was glenlivet. Now he's spoiled and wants to make sure we don't go somewhere with water downed well liquor. Can any one attest for the selection at nachi or have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Considering booking a bahama/carribean cruise in Sept. It'll be my 4th and the BF's 1st... read alot about high rain and hurricanes. What are the chances? Do we try anyways? Is it worth it? Anyone else been on a Sept cruise? How was it? Would it be better to wait until the end of the month or even October? Would the water still be warm then? My December cruise was disappointing (cause im a baby and need bath temp waters)... let me know your thoughts. Rates are definitely low enough that it might be worth the gamble :)
