Looking ahead, are there any excursions that you have taken with a toddler that you would or would not recommend?

I am looking forward to cruising with my 1.5 year old G'son too! The first thing I double checked was what pool area for non potty trained kids. Not all ships, even in the same cruise line, have dedicated space. I made sure our cabins are close to D/SIL so we could be close to help out. I made sure that we both have balcony cabins so adults could enjoy ocean views or CP balcony when he naps. Hoping we both have a fabulous time & make sweet memories!

(Just a heads up, I used to have to actually wait. until ON BOARD.) We redeemed points for our October cruise. I was surprised to see it ready to use when I logged in today to my Royal account. It is nIce to be able to book excursions and pay with OBC ahead of time!

I am trying to understand the point of only allowing making show rsvps until after boarded. Only thing I could come up with is limited seating during protocols & did not want wasted for those that were denied boarding or no shows. 🤷‍♀️ Any chance they will allow booking prior to boarding again? I like to get all of it squared away before boarding.

We will be driving to the port, just wondered if there was an option to not use the pack & play as it makes the space tighter. he will be 1.5 at sailing.

Did you ever try the chat feature with the app? Does the app work well for checking the daily schedule?

The last time the app worked spotty but that was before Covid 2019. How is the app working now, specifically the chat feature. I heard the muster drill was being handled through the app, is this still the case?

If they (Wonder of the Seas) make up the sofa bed for a child in a 3 person cabin, do they have any sort of rail that can be added, like they do for drop down beds? Just trying to figure out if it is possible to not bother fooling with pack and play.

How difficult was the hike? I am a avid hiker but my husband is not. Trying to decide if this would be suitable for us. Did you use hiking shoes or just regular tennis shoes? And steep inclines or sketchy parts that made you nervous? Any information would be helpful.

What did you end up doing in St. Kitts? I am curious about this excursion but having a hard time getting info about it.

Curious if all rooms for 3 have this type of set up. Would the room steward make up just the trundle for a younger child or do they have a simple rail for just the couch bed made up?

Any tables for 7 in the main dining room in a quiet corner that you would recommend for family group with a small child? Or do they have near windows? Oh wait, does this ship have windows in the MDR that give ocean view? I know some are frosted glass, no Oceanview.

Are the little fridges in the cabins able to keep milk/juice cold? I am researching for a 1.5 year old. We will be on Wonder of the Seas.

Are they limited to potty trained only or can toddlers using swim diapers enjoy the splash pad areas? Any specific helpful tips for taking an 18month old? Our first trip with our Grandson and so excited!

It is interesting that I have not been able to see what restrictions/recommendations are for little ones specifically for the splash pads. I know the pools are a no go but it would be nice to know if the splash pas area is an option.

I see lots of cool play areas. of course, I expect at a year & a half he will be just toddling around. The indoor play area (kid club areas w/simple slides and scooting. bikes) is there a place we can play with him outside of club hours? What splash pad areas are available on the ship and private island? If you have specific info about this ship with a little, feel free to share. First with first G'son. So excited!
