I would like to go to every cruise terminal and ask the first person in line “ how long have you been standing here”?Not the line I was referring to exactly...I was just using a reference to being on top of the check in game. Thanks to those who provided the time of check in opening. Appreciate

Hello everyone...can anyone tell me what time the chec-in on thd app opens up? For example, my upcoming cruise has a date of Oct. 30th, but what time (CST) can one access this process? Purely selfish reason for inquiry...I like to be first in line with the greatest of 'arrival time' options. Thanks in advance!

My husband uses a transportable electric wheelchair. He can walk short distances and climb a few stairs. Does this tour company accomodate this? Was this a private tour or lots of folks?

Generally between 1 and 3 pm you should be able to see the big planes

We have always had a drink package. In December, we will not ( maybe will purchase but don't know yet). Also, am Elite plus but just never really focused on those bennies much. We generally enjoy Cafe Al Bacio 2-3 times daily, my personal favorite drink is the Iglu. My question is this...is the entire (non-alcoholic) menu available at no charge to Elite plus? Is there a daily limit? DH likes a Chai tea or Capp along with Americano. Thanks in advance!

The fee is $29 per person in FLL plus any baggage fees charged by the airline. You will get a paper which you complete and return to Guest Services. The fees are charged to your room and you can use your OBC.
I was able to sign up for this service (in Seattle) ahead of time. It sounds like I do not need to put this on my to do list for FLL. Thanks for the info.

Additionally, it was free in Seattle but there is a charge in Fort Lauderale?
-
Thank you for your responses. I did mean... is there port valet in Fort Lauderdale LIKE they have in Seattle. It was an awesome service! Gotta figure out how to sign up next

Hello fellow cruisers...have not sailed out of Fort Lauderdale port in ages. Do they offer luggage valet to airport such as Seattle Port?
-
Does the shuttle have room for a powered W/C? (Small and collapses) Does Juneau have Uber?
-
Hello cruising friends...when I view the ships in port for Juneau first week of september, it appears that Solstice is at dock A. Is that AJ dock on google maps? Is that like at least a 20 minute walk to downtown? Does Celebrity provide transport or are there cabs? DH is mobility challenged, and frankly, I don't want to walk that far either. TIA

Spoke with resolution department about this very matter last week. DH does not drink alcohol due to health conditions. They noted it in our reservation and I will present a letter from his PCP attesting to this. They could not upgrade me to premium via our conversation, but assured me that I will be able to do this on board with said documentation. We shall see.

Hijacking a little bit...so 2 bottles per person are allowed? (2 persons per cabin)
-
Soooo...no limit to numbers of bottles, cuz what might be "reasonable" to one is "unreasonable" to the next
-
New to Holland so garnering info as best as I can...how many bottles can you bring on and how much is corkage fee? This is assessed even if enjoying in stateroom only?
-
I would also like to do this but only on my classic package. DH does not drink but he has the classic as well. Has anyone experienced this transition? I intend to have his PCP provide documentation that he does not drink alcohol due to medical contraindications but, how would this work in terms of calling to receive a discount? I guess one only finds these things out by doing it.

Are you sure? Because some one posted a screenshot on an earlier post of mine in another thread that said both people must have an alcohol package.
I am going to call the BCC tomorrow and see what they say.
Please report back

Both people in a cabin do not have to have the same package but if 1 has an alcohol package both have to have an alcohol package (some exceptions, medical, pregnancy, recovering alcoholic).
So you could book AI and just upgrade your package.
My husband does not drink due to medication contraindications. This seems rather unfair for him to pay for an alcohol package. Has anyone had success with a Dr. Note with regards to this matter? Nevertheless, these drink package prices are getting out of hand

Thank you

For the first time ever, we will be purchasing our drink packages while on board. For the first time ever, we have a non-drinker in the cabin (but he enjoys virgin bloody Marys, Cafe al Bacio, 0 alcohol beer, sparkling waters). Can 1 person in the cabin purchase premium package and the other passenger get a non-alcohol package?

I have not cancelled many cruises in the past before Covid but I recall that if I cancelled before final payment, I was refunded my deposit. How silly of me to assume this was still true. We just disembarked Celebrity Solstice last Friday. Prior to this sailing and after the 'Cruise with Confidence' program was lifted, I booked a B2B for a winter get away. We tested positive for Covid within 48 hours of disembarkation. I no longer want to cruise. Now they have my deposit and plan to keep it. No need to chastise me...it was my misunderstanding and I own it. Certainly puts a new skew on future cruises for me though.

Thank you

Need a quick response cuz we are boarding this morning, Yay! Watched the safety video and life jacket video but there was no prompt to check this off. I have read that somewhere, a statement appears verifying both cabin guests have watched it...not seeing this. TIA, Julie
Transport Port Everglades to MIA
in Florida Departures
Posted
Hello cruise lovers, I did a general search and the results are difficult to sift thru. We disembark in Port Everglades and our flight home is out of MIA. I am just looking for experiences using ride-share such as Uber. I have never 'pre-scheduled' an Uber. Does this process work well? (Thinking about how the Uber would find us in the sea if disembarking guests). We will need a larger SUV and I wondered if folks knew approximate prices for this trip? Thanks in advance and Happy Sails
