If you look at post #11, second picture, you can see the dresser drawers and the location of the cabin door.  Since the door opens to the inside of the cabin, if one of the dresser drawers is pulled out, the door bangs into it and the person entering has to wait to enter until the drawer is in the closed position.  It actually happened to us several times.

Hated the sideways!  People love it, that is why we booked it.  But, it sure didn't seem bigger to me.  You don't get that feeling of space when walking into the cabin.  You open the door and - bam! - you are by the bed.  You can't even have the dresser drawer open at the same time as the cabin door, or they bang into each other.  If someone is coming into the cabin, they have to wait until you close the drawer.  Never again.

Think we'll do just that. Park at the return terminal tomorrow & uber/cab over to the ship so the car will be waiting for us at the right terminal when we return.

We are sailing on the Island Princess (tomorrow!) and we will be sailing out of terminal 21 but when we return we will be at terminal 2. 

We will be leaving our car in the garage at the port.

When we return, what is the best way to get back to our car at the other terminal?  Taxi?  Or, will Princess provide a shuttle??

Any info would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention, we are sailing on the 20th, the day you return.  We'll be on the Island for a partial Panama Canal cruise.

When can you meet with the maitre'd about table assignments?  I didn't see it on the Patter.

Also - just a vent - but why do they insist on having the spa raffle at basically the same time as early seating in the MDR?!  Maybe there is a 15 minute difference but it always runs long and then we are late for dinner.   

Are there any pubic restrooms in Old Town, Cartagena?

We'll be on the Nieuw Amsterdam next week.  Where and when can we meet the maitre d on first day to check on our table location?  I've seen sample Navigators but I don't see a time or place.

Can you hear noise coming from the screening room that is on the deck directly below this cabin?  Thanks.
