  1. I checked their Facebook page. May 20 they posted their hours. Closed Wednesday and Saturday. Looks like a great place! It's our Wednesday stop, so will miss this.
  2. According to instructions received my our line, Oceania, ArriveCAN is needed. Here's the exact wording: "If your voyage is traveling to Canada". Further instructions as noted in above posts. Victoria is a stop on our Alaska cruise.
  3. I too, have found @Flatbush Flyerhelp invaluable for shorex shopping. I was lucky enough to get an O agent on the phone who sent me a PDF for my Sept cruise. Lots of time on hold and really a waste of time for a busy TA. The PDF is much different from my original one from the time of booking. (Baltic Cruise with SPB etal removed). Deb
  4. Thanks @karatemom2what a great post. Several times you mentioned the beautiful days you had. Sounds like one day a little rainy and cool. No mention of cold, wet days wearing boots, scarves, mittens and rain pants. I know its unpredictable but seems like you had some great weather days and fantastic experiences. My mind is a little boggled though over the ArriveCAN. I'm sure I'll ace it once I put my mind to it. Deb
  5. Very good and kind posts here, thanks. I've gotten as far as downloading the app. Will enter our info soon. Deb
  6. What a great thread. This topic is of great interest (and importance) to me. This group here sure does cover all the bases, huh? Home roasted and fresh ground, high end espresso machines, imported coffee all the way to a couple mentions of Dunkin (😝, I'm from the midwest and live with lots of Northeasterns who swear by that vile drink). Morning coffee is a highlight of my day. I am touched by the numbers of you who say their kind and dear partners will fetch something from afar. My DH will do the same once I sort out what tastes good to me. We both drink hot strong bold Starbucks from a store or made with a pod at home - I know that's not much of a coffee purist thing but it works for us. It comes as little surprise that the coffee lovers here don't enjoy the dining room and other dispensed coffees. I'm gonna count on baristas and Horizons for my morning coffee. Thanks all. Our first O cruise commences June 27.
  7. Thanks again. I looked at the link for XXL store. We'll get there!
  8. We embark in Oslo for a 32 day Vikings and Baltic Shores cruise. We will be in the Arctic Circle in early September. I'm wondering if I need boots to keep warm and dry for these visits and excursions. I'm looking at ATV and RIB tours with the strong possibility of getting wet. Boots (and other cold weather clothing) are not in my wardrobe in South Florida. What about buying some boots upon arrival in Oslo? I will not bring them home - maybe donate them somewhere. Any thoughts? Deb
