We got the notice. Northern Lights spotted!

Pretty lazy day at sea. We tried to play this game we brought with us. It was tough relearning it because we were in the Schooner Bar and there was stuff going on. I need to review the rules thoroughly. We’ll try again later. Afterwards, we went to the show. Next was dinner. Menu Quiche. This was cold, but the sad thing was that it wouldn’t been better warm. Tuna Carpaccio. prime Rib. Pretty good. yeah, I got greedy with Osso Buco as well. Chocolate Hazelnut cake. This was not as good as I hoped.

I was knocked out last night. I didn’t see any alerts about the Northern Lights. I did not get up again until noon. I was really rundown. I suspect it was the heavy movement that helped it. So, Day 6, Good afternoon from Its a clearer day today. A bit of a chill in the air at 44 degrees. Again, I barely made lunch. Menu Mushroom soup. I always enjoy this fish onboard. tostones. Stuffed Mushroom caps. Maple Honey Pie I’m waking up so late, I’m not drinking coffee. Though I may need some now. Also, our itinerary has is arriving late to Nuuk due to the weather slowest us down. 10am instead of 8. Which means more sleep! Woot. My plans for the day? The only thing that caught my eye is the broadway show tonight. But lets see what kind of things i can find.

Another lazy day. I have to admit that the rocking is starting to get to me. The only thing i made it to was the lecture on Astronomy. It was an interesting talk on the planets of the solar system. I dozed off not because it was boring, but the rocking put me to sleep. After a while, I started to get nauseous from it. I tried to set up in the Game Preserve with my laptop but between the noise, and the nausea, I didn’t last long. i went back to the room and passed out a little. Wife made it to the comedy show without me. Originally it was supposed to be the broadway show but they postponed it because of the ship movement. I did make it to dinner. menu Vidaia onion tart. Curried Lamb. They’ve added an curry dish every night i think. I’ve been happy with it. “Strawberry shortcake”. Its in quotes because its not strawberry and its not shortcake. It was pink colored creme cake. Peanut caramel bar. I missed this was vegan. It was kinda like a rice crispy treat. It wasn’t bad. I’m done today. I’ve just had no energy today.

I was in that line. I got in at 1 or maybe 5 minutes before. I got a lobster roll, for what it was worth. I liked the Creamy Shrimp croissant better.

@Jimbo We tried to get up there but as we said, deck 12 was closed and we couldn’t find a way up. We just wanted to go up there and make reservations, but realized we could do it at any restaurant.

Good afternoon from here. This is Day 5. Its a bit rough today. I had to take this picture off the aft from the Windjammer as deck 12 is closed. Not as nice a day as yesterday and the temperature is down to mid 50s already. Due to yet another lost hour. I did not get up until noon ship time. Went to lunch. Chilled Strawberry soup. Its like a strawberry milkshake. Caprese Salad. This one looks better than yesterday and had avocados. Scallops ceviche Did they ever have a lobster roll for lunch before? I actually preferred the creamy shrimp croissant. The chips were wonderful. And for dessert. Lemon tart. Its like a lemon meringue pie but it was good.

They’re small, but pretty much the same as before. You can order and theoretically eat multiple entries. I personally get 1 entree as I prefer multiple appetizers to the entrees.

There are 7pm showtimes for those with late seating dining. We went to two shows at 7.

Dinner. Menu Hey, the same corn cakes from lunch. Shrimp Cocktail. Butter Chicken. I think this is the first tome I’ve seen it on the MDR menu. I’ve seen it in the Windjammer. Tres Leches This was not bad, but it wasn’t really Tres Leches.

I did end up going to the Headliner Show. It was nothing really special.

Another day at sea. Didn’t really do much. Lunch Menu. Grilled corn cakes Caprese Royal Burger. Our table mates ordered it medium rare. I told the waiter if they can do that, then get that for me. If not, get me the Lasagna. Guess what? They said they can only cook it on way. aahh well… Floating Island

Funny thing. Before i saw this. I was walking past the Schooner and ran into our tablemates from dinner. One of them had a frozen Mohito and I was like, huuh, sounds interesting, I'll try it.

I found the pictures from last night!! Menu I finally got my escargot. Calamari Chicken Pathia. This is something new. It was very good. Indian food on the ship is usually delicious.

Good “morning” from here. It is a nice morning. Its pretty warm considering where we are. I’m outside with my coffee. We lost an hour last night I theoretically slept till noon. Enjoying my coffee and figuring out what to do today. If anything.

Last night is a blur for me. I had no pictures of food because my phone was acting up. I “took” the pictures. But they never manifested on my phone for some reason. I pretty much found a spot at Vintages and set up my computer until dinner. The Alley Cats were the headliners, but we saw them last year. They were fun, but i really didn’t want to see them again. Then i tried to make it through the sexiest man contest but that was at 11 and i was kind of drunk. So i passed out.

It was dry, bland, not really flavorful.

It was decent. I have no complaints

You’re right. The free coffee is only good for Cappuccino, Latte or Americano

Good Morning from It appears we are still heading Southwest. Its a little rocky, but nothing I haven’t experienced before. However, these are out. No real plans today. Just chilling.

I meant to post this last night, but internet crapped out in my room. Coming out of Manhattan is interesting. Last night, the headliner was They were pretty impressive. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had not gone to see Cirque du Soleil last week for our anniversary. So seeing this show was like…meh after that show still fresh in my head. I finally made it to the MDR for dinner. Menu These are “bay scallop” not escargot. They were ok, not the same even though its the same setup. I thought this was Beef Carpaccio at first. Its not. Vitello Tonnato. Beef Tenderloin And “Pecan Pie”. This wasn’t that good. So the end of Day 2.

Had i known about it before i bought tickets for Intrepid, it would have been a contender.

Lunch today Menu Calamari Duke of Lux Burger Afterwards. We found this coffee shop and got coffee and an Arepa.
