  1. Has anyone experiences Aloha deck aft cabin A743? We think location near Terrace pool would be great but not sure if this area would have smoke drift from designated smoking areas. Also balcony size - normal? Noise from buffet seating above? Thanks!

  2. Looking to book 1st Princess cruise on Star with brother's family.. Lots of questions - sorry!

Can balcony dividers be opened to expand space adjacent cabins?

Is Starboard forward side better to avoid smoke drift from allowed areas?

Are all caribe balcony's larger or just some - if so, which ones?

Is Terrace pool area still allowing smoking & if so has it been a problem for non- smokers enjoying it?

If I booked a balcony cabin near there has smoke smell been an issue?

Looking at cabins Caribe deck C227 & C331 any experiences?

    Thanks so much!

  3. I'm totally in love with the S class and I know if an S class was doing this itinerary I'd jump in it. But I'm just not excited about Connie. Nothing really wrong with her, but no excitement. Were currently booked on a Greek island cruise on Oceania and am debating an itinerary on Connie instead. Help me embrace an M class again!

We were hooked on Oceania too but after 10 cruises we decided to try Celeb S class - decided on O vs S class, O was a 10, S was an 8.5, price was a 10 on O and a 4.5 (higher number = higher $$$) for us, no brainer. We can cruise at least twice as often (if not 3 or 4 times) with Celebrity! That said, we had only been on S ships until we did the Century to Alaska in September, we had steeled ourselves to be disappointed - not so! Ship actually reminded me more of Nautica (& her sisters) than anything else! We are going to be on Connie in February - 1st time - looking forward to having another comparison... For us Celebrity is an obvious choice, I have more time than $$ and love to cruise....

  4. Information only: ORGANIC milk is from certified (read inspected, verified & spot checked to confirm standards) organic producers who by law are not able to feed or supplement their cows with ANY milk production enhancements such as antibiotics and hormones. So, no organic milk by definition does not contain these. Google is your friend.... :)

  5. All true, but this posting issue is not about agreeing or disagreeing, it's about lack of respect and intent to negate the validity of the other person's question, not to answer it. And yes, organic milk IS treated to destroy bacteria & allow distance transport but what it does not have is antibiotics & hormones.... Which along with individual digestive, physical tolerance & informed parent issues would be a legitimate concern for OP. And I do believe that the OP is going to bring own milk which was truly all the issue was about - "available on board or bring own".

  6. Don`t live near a farm and I can`t throw a rock very far:rolleyes:

    Organic does not mean unpasteurized:p

It seems that a lot of posters here always have to belittle other peoples opinions. Very contentious and boring:p

Agreed - why do you negativity posters feel the need to chime in if you are only going to chide, deride or belittle? Not a healthy use of your time! Besides, the hormone stuffed, antibiotic infused cows milk these days has been linked to several adverse effects in childhood development! If you can't be helpful, informative or supportive - have your chuckle & 'eye-rolling' moment privately and step away from the keyboard.....

  7. We contacted Iain from Serenity Scotland and spent a week with him as driver, guide in the Highlands. He picked us up from our Edinburgh hotel & delivered us back to Glasgow for our flight home. Historian, folklorist, excellent communicator & now friend, we would recommend touring with him in a heartbeat. Sherri

  8. Here's what I found.... Summarizes pretty well!

We have placed service dogs for a number of different disabilties including:

    Down Syndrome

    Sleep Apnea

    Migraine Alert

    Fibromyalgia

    Arthritis

    Alzheimer's

    Williams Syndrome

    Anxiety / Panic Disorder

    Dravet Syndrome

Rape victims - for security enhancement and also PTSD symptoms

Of course, some of these conditions may not be severe enough to need a service dog, but sometimes they are. All of our placements are done based on the needs of each client. There are many things that dogs can be trained to help someone with, and our trainers can work with you to tailor your training program to fit your needs.

If you do not see a service dog listed for your specific needs, that doesn't mean we can't help you. All you have to do is contact us and we can let you know if a service dog may be able to help you in your specific situation.

Sadly many diseases are worse than any of these and a service dog could add much independence and quality to ones life. If you or someone you know may benefit from a service dog or just a warm four legged friend, call or email us and we will help you find your best K-9 friend, who's waiting for you.

  9. Thank you for your advice. I imagine that if the consultants are on the ship, they wouldn't want to turn down business if called.

If one books a cruise now, can one cancel and rebook once on the ship to get the added future cruise bonuses?

We did. But we had to change rooms because we couldn't book the same cabin until the agency released it.... Shouldn't be a problem even with that if you book direct with a Celebrity.....

  10. We are going to do a TA 11/4/15 on the Constellation. I am shopping for perks like pre-paid gratuities, OBC. Anyone had any luck? I know Celebrity discounts TA cruises a fair amount, but was hoping to find some perks. I have been told 3,2,1 does not apply to TA cruises. Appreciate any info anyone can share. Thanks!

Just got an email from Travelzoo (I think I can say that!) and one of the big online cruise companies is offering pp gratuities for TA bookings...
