Thanks for much for the quick replies. Just trying to understand Royal Caribbean's process after cruising only with Carnival.

New to Royal Caribbean. Sailing in GS on August 9th. I can print off my SetSail pass today but says cruise documentation is not ready. What is the difference between the two and Cruise Documentation where it will give me the option to order luggage tags since we are in a GS? Thanks.

Went to do a mock booking for my August 9th Freedom cruise. A Promo Code box came up that I don't remember seeing before but I don't see a promo code anywhere? Has anyone else run into this? Thanks.

We are going August 9th and staying in a Grand Suite too. We have always stayed at Country Inn and Suites right across from the port. They will let you park and shuttle you over. If you incur problems, the management there will correct it quickly! Would recommend them highly!

So the Owner's Suite is separate, correct?

Advice on grand suite or owner's suite. Can't tell from photos but how big tub and shower the same in both cabins? My husband is a "large" man and from the pictures of the Owner's Suite, the shower looks very small. Comments appreciated. Thanks.

I am new to Royal Caribbean and staying in a Grand Suite. What is the difference between the luggage tags that I can download and print myself vs. the ones that suite guests can order? On Carnival, we usually printed off, laminated them, and attached with zip tie.

I was told that some of the suites got the cushions in April but all remaining suites would have them by May 10th.
-
All will be replaced by May 10th I'm told by RC.
-
I send an email to Royal Caribbean regarding the cushions as my husband's cancer is in his spine. I understand some suites on Freedom got cushions on April 26th with the remaining ones to be on May 10th. We don't cruise until August 9th so we were assured they would be definitely on there then. What type of benefits did you get with the GS. I have seen many inconsistent comments.

So glad to see this view! We are sailing in a GS on Freedom in August after 10 cruises with Carnival! I understand that cushions will be on all suite balconies by middle of May! Looks like a fabulous cruise! It will just be my husband and I celebrating his cancer remission and a belated 50th birthday! Look forward to more posts and pictures!

Any pictures of the grand suites? Thanks.

I merely asked the question. No need to attack people. First time on Royal Caribbean after 10 cruises on Carnival. Carnival allowed it all nights except formal night. Now I know!
-
Are men's dress shorts allowed at night in the MDR? I know formal nights wouold definitely be out but wasn't sure about other nights? Thanks.

Last Carnival cruise last summer did us in after 9 other cruises. Definitely went down hill! Trying our first Royal Caribbean cruise on August 9th on Freedom of Seas in a Grand Suite!

We are in a GS in August of 2015. Didnt book based on the future suite amenities! What they have now is still much better than we ever experienced on our 10 cruises with Carnival

I sent an email to Michael Bayley last night and got a response this a.m. from him saying "Please do not worry. Your Grand Suite will be pefect".
Michael
Not sure what that means but at least our comments are being seen.

I sent Michael Bayley an email last night regarding the cushions and received a reply from his this a.m. He said "please do not worry. Grand Suite will be perfect". Michael
Not sure what that means but at least someone is seeing our comments.

First time cruising since husband's diagnosis so just trying to plan around large crowds if possible which is one reason for getting the grand suite vs. balcony. I have emailed wtih Rahul and he has responded very quickly to my questions and concerns.
What suite were you in and what kind of dining did you have? How was embarkation and disembarkation?
Thanks a lot.

If anyone recently stayed in a Grand Suite, I have a few questions. My husband was just told on Monday he is in remission from cancer so has anyone received the escorts on or off the ship while in port without going through the lines. I know this is a large ship and there will be lots people but just trying to avoid having him in tight places with large amounts of passengers. I have seen different answers. Also, does GS get you reserved seating at the shows? I know the new suite perks are supposed to be coming out but we leave in August so not sure they will have hit by then. Thanks everyone. First time Royal Caribbean. Left Carnival after 10 cruises in 4 years. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed.

Having trouble opening document? Can you someone tell me who is in CL on Freedom on August 9, 2015, and an email address? Thanks.

Sailing with RC for the first time in a GS on the Freedon in August after cruising Carnival (10 times). Would love to see suites get early luggage delivery by say 3 p.m.? Just a thought!

My husband and I are going on Freedom of the Seas on August 9th and staying in a Grand Suite so I have several questions for anyone who has recently cruised and stayed in a Grand Suite.
1) Tell me about the priority Embarkation and Debarkation. My husband is recovering from cancer which is the main reason we booked in a suite for the extra perks to keep him from being "in large crowds" in tight spaces.
I know then why you are taking a cruise on such a large ship! We love cruising and is a way for both of us to relax which is why we picked the ports we did! We have been to all of them numerous times except Coco Cay and figured we would probably use the ship while others are at the beach since he has to avoid lengthy exposure to the sun! We love to just people watch!
Also, he is a "larged frame" man so when we request a 2 top for My Time Dining, is there a particular area of the dining room which will be more comfortable for us?
I'm sure there will be more questions but that's it for now. Thanks for your help!

Have been on 10 Carnival cruises but trying a Grand Suite on Freedom of the Seas in August! Does Grand Suite have walk-in closet, hairdryers in room? Also, what suite benefits will we get with a Grand Suite since we will be first-time cruisers with RC? How was Terminal 1 and what is the earliest boarding time for suite guests? Thanks for your help!

Going on Freedom in August after doing 10 Carnival cruises. Noticed the same thing on Carnival and glad to hear of your observations on Freedom. What kinds of cabins did you have?
