  1. New to Royal Caribbean. Sailing in GS on August 9th. I can print off my SetSail pass today but says cruise documentation is not ready. What is the difference between the two and Cruise Documentation where it will give me the option to order luggage tags since we are in a GS? Thanks.

  2. I am new to Royal Caribbean and staying in a Grand Suite. What is the difference between the luggage tags that I can download and print myself vs. the ones that suite guests can order? On Carnival, we usually printed off, laminated them, and attached with zip tie.

  3. I send an email to Royal Caribbean regarding the cushions as my husband's cancer is in his spine. I understand some suites on Freedom got cushions on April 26th with the remaining ones to be on May 10th. We don't cruise until August 9th so we were assured they would be definitely on there then. What type of benefits did you get with the GS. I have seen many inconsistent comments.

  4. First time cruising since husband's diagnosis so just trying to plan around large crowds if possible which is one reason for getting the grand suite vs. balcony. I have emailed wtih Rahul and he has responded very quickly to my questions and concerns.

What suite were you in and what kind of dining did you have? How was embarkation and disembarkation?

    Thanks a lot.

  5. If anyone recently stayed in a Grand Suite, I have a few questions. My husband was just told on Monday he is in remission from cancer so has anyone received the escorts on or off the ship while in port without going through the lines. I know this is a large ship and there will be lots people but just trying to avoid having him in tight places with large amounts of passengers. I have seen different answers. Also, does GS get you reserved seating at the shows? I know the new suite perks are supposed to be coming out but we leave in August so not sure they will have hit by then. Thanks everyone. First time Royal Caribbean. Left Carnival after 10 cruises in 4 years. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed.

  6. My husband and I are going on Freedom of the Seas on August 9th and staying in a Grand Suite so I have several questions for anyone who has recently cruised and stayed in a Grand Suite.

    1) Tell me about the priority Embarkation and Debarkation. My husband is recovering from cancer which is the main reason we booked in a suite for the extra perks to keep him from being "in large crowds" in tight spaces.

I know then why you are taking a cruise on such a large ship! We love cruising and is a way for both of us to relax which is why we picked the ports we did! We have been to all of them numerous times except Coco Cay and figured we would probably use the ship while others are at the beach since he has to avoid lengthy exposure to the sun! We love to just people watch!

Also, he is a "larged frame" man so when we request a 2 top for My Time Dining, is there a particular area of the dining room which will be more comfortable for us?

I'm sure there will be more questions but that's it for now. Thanks for your help!

  7. Have been on 10 Carnival cruises but trying a Grand Suite on Freedom of the Seas in August! Does Grand Suite have walk-in closet, hairdryers in room? Also, what suite benefits will we get with a Grand Suite since we will be first-time cruisers with RC? How was Terminal 1 and what is the earliest boarding time for suite guests? Thanks for your help!
