Good morning Tribe Family! It's our last day aboard the Carnival Vista. Bulk of the day will be spent in the Havana area, and then of course we have to pack. It's been a great relaxing two weeks. Once off the ship tomorrow we will be heading straight home. I hope to get the review up and running by May 1st. I admit that I have been lax in keeping up with Patti's pictures, so I'll have to step it up once we get home. Have a great weekend everyone! 😎

Looking forward to reliving my Vista Havana Extended Balcony  memories from my last 2 cruises. The Havana Pool/Spa is 10++++++++

    The rest of the ship-unremarkable

Up until lunch time it was a pretty chill day, but everything since then has been a complete cluster fest... A customer came in and picked the very bottom rug out of over 100 that were stacked on top of it. Of course, that means removing the 99 that were on top of it, and by the way, the salesperson promised we'd have it ready "in about twenty minutes"... Safe to say we all got a nice workout while digging it out. An hour and twelve minutes till quitting time!

On a positive note-you don't have to pay for a Private Gym and you get your workout done during the workday🏋️‍♀️

That's probably why the Chicks dig you!

What I find interesting is that they are backing out of there and Cozumel and a few other places but not DFW that they just expanded to. Anyone else?
one of the other softball moms is a SW flight attendant. We’ve been talking about this for a few weeks. She says there will be furloughs and she thinks she might end up back “on call” which is crazy. She hasn’t been on call since before the C-word.

That's because most of the growth in DFW is west of DFW Airport. Love Field is pretty far from that growth

While this is great news for you personally and for whatever lil' side hustle you seem to run on that site...

I was so looking forward to you, the woman who was on your Family Feud team of larger carriage and myself flying into Ho Chi Minh City...Man, we were going to be like Liam Neeson in Taken and explain to these protocol pirates that we have some very specific skill sets...

I’m assuming you knew Harvey Armstrong?

Yep I actually interviewed him and Bryon Hunt (NY Giants) for a short article for a game program. In college I thought Armstrong who was an All-American was better than Michael Carter (All Pro/NFL) but  Nose Guard job is not necessarily to make tackles/plays but to ocuppy the line so LB's can make the play. He was in my graduating class in believe

We went to the spring game at Georgia Tech today. It was a beautiful day for it.

Tech won the game, but according to the scoreboard it’s been awhile since we won a National Championship.

Its always a good sign when your team wins the Spring Game (Of course, Georgia Tech also LOST the Spring Game)🤔

I belong to that demographic and I sort of have dimples. If I lost weight they would probably be more prominent. I never thought much about them.

Also, in my demographic, for some, sororities are a big deal, especially after college graduation.
I belong to one of the largest African-American sororities in the world with over 350,000 members.

Our national conventions have upwards of 15,000 attendees. Our national and regional conventions are so large, that I no longer attend.

At one sorority convention I attended in Washington DC, I stepped outside the convention center to make a phone call. While I was outside the fire marshall closed the center down because it was over capacity. I was stuck outside for hours. I finally gave up.

Hopefully, the person in that episode will find the right goals.
Weight loss goals can be elusive. Mine was to fit into some of the clothes I grew out of. Finally, I just tossed them and bought larger sizes. Controlling food consumption is a difficult burden for me.

OK spout your pledge class!!! (lights match)

I busted out laughing. My husband was like "what?" I was like two of her three LIFE goals are to join a sorority and go on a cruise to the Bahamas? How about

lose weight and get the surgery? Live independently? Get a job? No. She wants to join a sorority and go on a cruise. The list started out strong when she said go back to college. Then straight off a cliff. She was a hot mess. Sadly I knew from the beginning that wasn't going to end well.

I wonder if she has been informed that there is running involved on "bid day":

I’m going to post some of the sites. I think there are some people my mom’s age around here. She watched Dallas religiously. I just know the theme song and JR. I just liked to come out at the beginning because it showed Texas stadium.

If I had known the “box lunch” was decent bbq I wouldn’t have eaten ahead of time. When I hear box lunch I think of my only southwest flight which was a chartered plane to Vegas for Red Flag 1997 where the lunch consisted of a bologna sandwich and chips. That would be a great airline meal today…but back then it was a joke.
