  1. We are Diamond and get 2 "free" days of internet each. On our last cruise, I asked the staff Voom guru person if I can get credited the 2 days from the package I bought. He told me NO b/c I had gotten a discount rate by purchasing it pre-cruise! I have always wondered if he was telling me the truth or he just didn't want to be bothered b/c he was very busy. Has anyone had any experience with this issue?

  2. We are on a B2B in May. Can anyone describe how they handle B2B cruisers? Covid test for 2nd week? Do they make you get totally off the ship? I know there used to be a special lunch-do they still do that? If you are staying in the same cabin, do they allow you to return to it before cabins are typically open?

Doubtful - companies aren't known for protectively taking less of your money. Otherwise Royals cwc wouldn't require you to call for the price adjustment. Unless you have a TA that might have done something - but 304 is higher than the diamond balcony discount.

Have you purchased anything on the cruise planner?

WE did, but the orders are still in tact. We will be on a B2B, so maybe that included both cruises?

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. –

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? -larger b/c it was on the end of the hump. WE had a table and 2 chairs plus a lounger

    Was wind a problem? -No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -

Any specific problems with this cabin? -It only had a loveseat instead of a full couch

when doing the test, research on YouTube any videos that demonstrate.  It was helpful.  Find a flat surface preferably a table.  If using your phone, have something to prop it because the proctor needs to watch everything you are doing and you can't do it with 1 hand.  Do NOT do anything until you are told to by proctor.  Dont open anything until ready.  Make sure you have your account set up and ready to go.

In all honesty, this is very simple and easy.  Just follow instructions to the T.

Backup plans would be to schedule test at a CVS, at the port, or anywhere in Miami that will do the rapid test.  But you wont need to.  The people who screwed up did not follow the directions.  I had plans b, c, and D and was good to go with the emed test.

Can my husband and I do it on the same call? Or do we each need to have separate tests on a separate phone? My hubby's phone is a smart phone but old...not sure it will function properly.

For our Alaska cruise on Serenade, if you are unvax or had children unvax, you were required to take a RCI excursion and when it was complete you were expected to return directly to the ship.  Didn't really pay much attention to see if it was enforced but those were the requirements at the time. You are provided with a color coded rubber bracelet to indicate you have been vaccinated.

So they are mixing unvax and vax passengers on the same excursion?

  7. Do you still have a copy of the gift certificate to check the # on it?

One time I gave my Mom a gift certificate for OBC for her Princess cruise which I had added to her account.  She told us there was no sign of it on board when she got on the ship. After much searching, it turns out they had attached it to someone else's account!!! Talk about stress tracking it down!😵

  8. A true fact....I was able to check in for our May 16th cruise! There was a detailed screen describing the Covid situations that could occur on board and one needs to agree to accept decisions by RCCL to abandon the cruise, etc. We have been assigned a time for our "well-screening" (3 pm...ugh!) and arriving any earlier will require a longer wait.

With all that said, I am not naive and realize they can cancel May cruises at any time. But it gave me a little glimpse of hope.
