I am sooo excited for you. Hope you have an amazing time. I don't think anyone ever forgets the thrill of their first cruise.

You certainly have a picture in your mind of this being a ship full of drunk rowdy people.
Unbelievable. Are you ever going to:
Be nice
Help someone
Actually answer the questions
OP....when we were on the Splendor, this ship was also in port in Mexico. IMO I would say yes. Much more of a party croud. I think you would still have fun though. Good luck with your decision

I am not plushy, but I purchased the tankini for another reason (hiding a scar).
Spent more time adjusting than anything. Just horrible. I agree with another poster..the hot tubs are the worst for these. Never again. Will stick with the one piece from now on.:)

Thank you Daisy for your review. Loved the Glory and looking forward to the Quantum also...:o

You are over thinking the ambiance of the ship. Very few people dress to the "nines". Please do not miss going to the main dining room. It is part of the experience. There are many options to choose from as far as the menu goes. I am sure you will find something you will enjoy.
As far as the weight loss.....CONGRATS. At 154lbs...believe me, you are FAR from being "the fat chick" on the ship. Very few "beautiful, skinny" girls walking around. BE PROUD and wear that bikini.
Have a WONDERFUL time and stop stressing. :o

Chronic complainers. OMG....go home!!!! Why are they even on the cruise??? Hate, hate, hate hearing "the food was much better on the......ship" "The service is much better on the .....ship". We had a single man sitting at our dinner table on the Explorer. All he did was complain. The whole table was so fed up with this man. When someone asked him what he did for a living, his response was a little bit of a mumble. After repeating the question he responded a little louder..."I am a bus driver" OMG...complete silence. Now, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being a bus driver, but this man acted as if he was the CEO of AT&T. I hate arrogance. There are all walks of life, some rich, some poor and some in between. Arrogant people do not impress me, so please keep your complaints to yourself. We do not want to hear them. We work hard all year to afford a vacation and we do not want it ruined by you. (when I say "we"), I mean all of the people that are just lucky enough to be on the ship to begin with.

Great thread for everyone. Has not been updated in 5 days. Lots of rooms missing. Help us out folks. I am looking for 6676 myself. Thank-you again for a great thread.

Why not try a different cruise line? Does it have to be Carnival? There are so many options out there and I sometimes have a hard time deciding "which cruise is next"???? So many cruises...so little time :o:o:o
