  1. I have been going through the forums for over a year now and I sometimes see people talk about a B2B cruise - I am just curious what exactly is that? Do you normally stay on the same ship or need to get off and get on another one?

Just curious for more information on it ... thanks :)!

We will be doing one in the future for a couple of different reasons. One is AIR FARE..LOL. For example: 7 days on the Allure, Eastern Caribbean....and then 7 Western Caribbean. 14 days (yipeeee) two cruises and only ONE airfare.

We sort of did this last year when we flew out to Long Beach CA to do a 15 day to Hawaii. Knowing we may not ever be out there again, decided to rent a car after the cruise and drive up the coast of California. LOVED IT.

  2. I buy a magnet of the ship, usually a couple of tshirts, maybe a hat for dh, some DODs and photos. For the photos I always go on the last day and get the 8x10 book that fits one picture and comes with a picture of the ship, they don't even have it out before the last day but when they put it out it's only $5, so I love that I have one frome very ship. I also got this shell jewelry on my last 2 cruises, it's a blueish greenish shell set in silver, cruise before last I got a ring and a necklace, and last cruise got matching earrings. I love wearing it because it reminds me of my cruises and I love that I was able to get matching pieces on different ships in different years. And it's not the by the inch stuff so it's actually quality.

That jewelry set sounds really pretty.

  3. My wife and I are booked on the 2015 January Hawaii cruise and we cant wait. We read the sea days can be a little rough but most people have good things to say. We are going in January cause its a good time to see whales.

Oh gosh. I forgot about this. The whales are AMAZING.

  4. We did this cruise last January on the Splendor out of Long Beach, CA. for 15 days. I believe it is the Miracle there now. Is this the ship you are going on?

We absolutely loved this cruise, but we LOVE sea days. It was chilly early in the morning and late at night if you were outside on deck, so bring a jacket. During the day, most of the time everyone was out on deck in bathing suits. We had two days of light rain, but that did not ruin any fun at all.

If you have any specific questions, ask away. The Miracle is a little smaller than the Splendor, but still a great ship.:o

  5. I'm part of the ugly, tacky crowd as my hole punch is in my fanny pack and my lanyard is around my neck. I punch the hole as soon as I get the card and I never have to look for it or hope I have pockets.

When my son was about 11 y/o, he put his card in his pocket and lost it twice in one day! Once I put it on a lanyard, he never lost it again.

    Lol Funny post

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If the poster that does not like lanyards and fanny packs, then so be it. Her opinion. I personally do not care for them either. This is what makes the world go round. If we were all the same, life would be very boring.

I have read many, many times, that foreigners always know the Americans by the very white sneakers/tennis shoes they wear. Never realized this. Yes, I still wear my white sneakers..lol:o

  6. It is refreshing to read a review from the eyes of a young person. I appreciate all that you have written. I think a lot of us have become spoiled over the years of cruising. We expect more for less $$$. I also think a lot of us forget what it was like to board our first cruise. Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. I certainly hope you will cruise again. Try a different cruise line if you are able...this way you can make a comparison.

  7. So what? They know they really like Carnival, and currently are satisfied with staying with that cruiseline. You don't have to try other cruises to know this.

You have "tried" all the other cruiselines? I've been on 83 cruises and certainly have not.

Lol.......No...I have NOT tried all of the cruise lines. Point is....I will NEVER say that I will NEVER try something different. You OBVIOUSLY agree with 83 cruises....lol.and 40 THOUSAND posts. Get real (or a hobby)
