  1. Takes 25 hours on hold to get through to customer service though… 😂
  2. I think officially you can’t bring any more alcohol onboard once the cruise starts but I’ve saw people bringing on booze without being challenged at numerous ports on several cruises
  3. And yes before anyone asks I have demanded a full refund as compensation for my disappointment and distress.
  4. He said there’s none onboard.
  5. The easiest way I found to cancel prepaid reservations once onboard was to just go straight to the podium of the restaurant and speak to the manager. We’re onboard Arvia now and I did this a few days ago with a beach house reservation which is already paid back onto my card. Be aware that if you plan on booking something else instead you’re better off transferring the booking as you get 20% discount when booked prior to sailing
  6. We’ve had these delivered to our cabin this morning after we left for the day. All joking aside I think it’s a lovely gesture. Well done P & O. they did a great job with everything going on around the ship as well.
  7. UPDATE: Just got back onboard, our cabin is cleaned but this is the situation with the biscuits. #biscuitgate
  8. And building bomb shelters
  9. I liked those biscuits 🍪 The small pieces of concrete they give you at costa are the worst 👎
  10. Hi All, Just reporting to with an update on the latest potential cutbacks. We've had no biscuits in our cabin now for 2 days. It started with what I thought was my wife committing a biscuit felony and sneakily eating a pack in the afternoon so there was only one pack left but has turned into a full on disaster with supplies now depleted. Multiple reports of cabins with no biscuits. We haven’t saw any rioting yet but have definitely heard a few passengers tutting loudly which is the British equivalent. So there you have it, cabin biscuits appear to no longer be a thing. Unless it’s just due to operational reasons 🤞
  11. Hi All, For your information. We arrived at CPS today at 11:55, there was a huge line of people waiting outside the terminal. There was someone walking along by the luggage pods telling people with priority boarding times that were at 12:00 or before to ignore the line and enter the terminal. We walked straight in past hundreds of people waiting outside. We then walked straight to a check in desk with no queue, checked in and was on the ship within 20 mins max. We’ve had our lunch in meridian which was lovely. We’ve in the sky dome now having a glass of wine 👌 Our boarding pass had 12:00 noon boarding time. It clearly stated priority boarding on it. We’re Caribbean level. The check in lady gave us our embarkation lunch ticket when we checked in. I don’t see why the current system should cause anyone a problem.
  12. Embarking Arvia tomorrow. 12:00 boarding time is on the boarding pass with Priority Boarding printed on it as well. We’re Caribbean level.
  13. Its a lovely ship, we cruised on her in January and are looking forward to being back 🙂
  14. 🤣 Bit of a buzz kill so missed it off ⛴️
  15. Hey All, It's 3 hours drive for us to Southampton Port so I made a playlist for the car a while ago. We have it on when packing etc as well 🤣 Dunno if this is shareable but if anyone wants some music to get you in the mood for a cruise here it is https://music.apple.com/gb/playlist/going-on-a-cruise/pl.u-pEZLIR3GK1 That should link to the shared playlist on Apple Music haha See you Sunday if you're on Arvia!
  16. Yeah Ive saw a few 35 night ones but with the sailings from Southampton there were so many more sea days than the 28 day Azura one we did that flew into Barbados.
  17. We did the maiden Christmas/New Year cruise on Azura. A 28 night fly cruise that did Caribbean , Florida New Orleans etc. An epic cruise that is still up there as one of our all time favourites. I wish they did more like that.
  18. All pretty much as expected from my first glance. Our plans to just sit and wait until past balance due date haven’t changed. You can book Iona at the moment for around £360-£400 yet the newly released fares are around £700 🤷‍♂️ Kotor isn’t new is it, we did it on Oceana pre covid. It’s beautiful
  19. That's not so bad. The ones where they use the first part of your email address as your name are the worst! So embarrassing when I get a letter addressed to perkybum1....
  20. Yep, seems pointless doesnt it. There must be some logic to it, they're probably just moving people from cabins they can sell again easier. We've had this happen on probably 5 or more cruises this past 12 months
  21. We're on Arvia end of the month and had email giving us a free upgrade. We booked a window cabin so I got excited when I saw it thinking we'd been moved to a balcony. Alas it was another window cabin on the same deck but just a different location further back 🤦‍♂️
  22. They could also sell lightening lane tickets(Like Disney do to skip the wait for rides) for the Arvia MDR 🤣 And you get a revised menu included in the price which has prawn cocktails and salmon always available 👍
  23. I'll let you know how long it takes lol
  24. Hi I'm having trouble with my P & O account. Trying to change the details to include my new email address and it throws an error message on the site but still sends me an email saying it was changed! Nothing got changed though 😞 Anyone else had the same problem an resolved it?
