It depends on whom you are purchasing the insurance through. Some companies require you to purchase insurance within x number of days of booking in order to have cancel for any reason. I always purchase our insurance when we book our trip.

Yes a great location! :)
Thanks Keith!

None. Any of these are great cabins. Terrific location. The Promenade deck aft is pretty wide and you're far enough above that you shouldn't smell any smoke. I was in E701 on the Royal for 18 days a year ago and loved the location.
Pam,
Thanks for the great picture and encouragement!

Enjoy your cruise! I am sorry you won't get to enjoy Panama. We had one of our best excursions ever with Emberá Village Tours. It was a private tour and we had no safety concerns at all.
-
Thanks! That makes sense :)

Does anyone know if you can smell cigarette smoke from the Promenade Smoking area on these Aft Cabins? Just realized I booked C735 which is above the smoking area. :o
Thanks!

Changed our March 2017 cruise using 3 for free and decided to upgrade to a balcony :) Yea for us!

We always get these. We have ginger ale at lunch and dinner and mocktails throughout the day. Try the Key West Cooler, my personal favorite!:D

Someone took a lot of time to create the attached Beverage Evaluator. This should help. Princess Beverage Package Evaluator rev0 posted 5-7-2014.xls

For our September PC cruise we are booked with Dora for a tour in Cartagena. Another person on our roll call booked and asked if others wanted to join - up to 8 in total. We have a private tour for 8 booked.
We also toured with Dora and loved it! In Panama we did a private excursion with Ann Gordon (http://www.emberavillagetours.com/) which was amazing. These two were the highlights of our cruise. :)

Cancelling before final payment, with everything booked through Princess, should make everyone whole again.
May I add something personal. I obviously don't know the exact circumstances however, I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in February and immediately thought of cancelling our many plans. But I knew I had until final payment to make a real decision. At final payment date, I a 50/50 chance of going on a cruise scheduled 8/31. I threw insurance at the trip...it was my carrot during some dark times. My early diagnosis was quite grim. My oncologist gave me clearance to go yesterday. I am still in treatment. What I want to say is that in the early days of diagnosis, things can and will change rapidly. You have time to let things sort themselves out. Good luck and God speed.
Murphey,
So sorry to hear of your cancer but very happy you are going ahead with your travel plans! I had always wanted to cruise but never could find the right time. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer (I'd lost my sister six years before to breast cancer) and on the way home from the doctor's office I stopped and booked our first cruise....Alaska in 2011. As you said, it helped get me through some tough times.
Praying you have a wonderful cruise!

Don't forget to add your anniversary to your Cruise Personalizer...balloons on your door and delicious anniversary cake :)

DH and I did UBD while the ship was sailing and didn't have any problems with the wind and we were able to watch dolphins swimming alongside the ship. It was great!
-
DH and I did a full transit which we enjoyed. Next time we will just do a partial. We enjoyed the Atlantic side of the locks much more than the Pacific side. Enjoy your cruise!

We enjoyed several movies on our Alaskan cruise. Our room Steward brought us blankets that were much larger than the ones offered on deck.

Yes, the mini bar set up will need help in drinking all the alcohol. My husband is more of a beer drinker usually with an occasional nightcap of something else. I'm more a wine drinker but do like coconut rum and amaretto. We will have to have a party as well. Can you explain what you meant about room service accommodating the party very well? And does anyone know if you can request certain alcohol instead of the norm?
I would imagine that the same rules would apply to a suite mini-bar setup as those for Elite passengers. According to the link below you can request a change of alcohol types:

Sorry to hear of your accident. Thank you for sharing re: insurance and Princess help.

Travelinyolo, which direction are you going? We traveled from Ft Lauderdale to LA and had a mid-ship Starboard Caribe balcony. We loved sea days on our balcony watching dolphins, flying fish and even a giant sunfish! We have friends that were on a mid-ship Port Caribe balcony and the sun was so intense that they were not able to enjoy their balcony while traveling through the Caribbean. Just another thing to think about. Hope you have a wonderful cruise!

Tracie,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know your wonderful "live from" entries will provide you with much joy in the months and years to come. I am so happy that you and your brother have this great memory of your cruise together.
God Bless You,

We did a B2B in February and we received our liquor (from St Thomas) at the end of the first leg. We just stored them under the bed

Another alternative is FlipKey or HomeAway. They both have properties downtown (condos/apartments) at a fraction of the cost of a hotel. I've found them a great alternative.

A unique experience would be Treehouse Point (http://www.treehousepoint.com/). About 30 minutes from Seattle...a fun option :D
-
They must of fixed the noise in c335 because we stayed in that cabin and there was no noise at all.
That's great news! I was thinking I needed to make a change but now I can relax again. :D

On our Princess Cruise the Ship Time was changed to Local Time at each Port.
Enjoy your cruise!
