Thanks martincath, have asked when making the booking and they said no, but you never know worth asking again so we did!

Still seems no one has experienc of being shuttled up from berth46 to WCC and indicating time taken/

Thanks to everyone for their replies. So we might have about an hour delay getting transported with our luggage from berth 46 to the World Cruise Centre..we have booked a shuttle there to a hotel, so we are trying to time our journey. Princess must put on shuttles to get everyone back to the main terminal, just can't quite imagine the crowds of people leaving the ship with luggage and trying to get on the shuttle to main terminal

Why not give Princess a call and see if they can give you any information.

Hi, really appreciate your reply thank you...to clarify, once we arrive at berth 46, are there busses ferrying people back to the main terminal at World Cruise Centre? Seems you took a taxi between them?

Does anyone know if you can get these at the BA airport, or is there a good rate in BA somewhere? We're on the 28th Feb leaving BA and can't get the pesos from our Au bank

Can anyone explain what happens when our Princess ship arrives at berth 46 at San Pedro...I read there's a bus to get people to the World Cruise Centre(berth 92)..is that so and how long does it usually take to ferry everyone there..we gather it's too far to walk, or maybe not allowed?

Can any experienced San Pedro port people tell us what happens when our Princess Star ship arrives at berth 46 at San Pedro...is there a bus to take us to the World Cruise Centre (berth 92)  and if so does it take ages for everyone to get on? We have a shuttle booked from World Cruise Centre

Sure Ruby Princess has free steam room and saunaa, like other Princess ships. Single sex. Good facilities

I agree with you, I always look for and/or start a G&L roll call but have only rarely had anyone else join. I've had similar experienc with the other LGBT cruising specific website/forum. :(

Hi, I noticed that you recently sailed on the Diamond Princess, how did you find the spa facilities on board?

Excellent Waldorf, roomy,well organised and very busy!

We loved the Aurora also, having been on twice and have 3rd booked for March 21st. Think yes maybe the Oriana might have its days numbered, especially since they just cancelled our 50n cruise on her to the Caribbean due to mechanical problems.

We just hope they keep the Aurora going and sad they took her out of world cruising just leaving Arcadia

Recently sailed on Carnival Spirit.

Small free male only sauna and steam room accessed through the men's locker room in the spa area (entrance to the gym).

Showers were great. Each shower was a seperate room with its own changing area with a lockable door. Very private.

Yes Matt have been on that and going again in June..as you say a great setup, especially the private shower rooms!

Rodbarry, P&O did send a snail mail letter to us for formal notification of cancellation. We have also received our full refund for the cruise, paid via the TA so we did have to wait a couple of weeks. We also claimed for the additional cost of insurance, that was refunded within a week. Keep chasing your TA for your refund, and any out of pocket cost related to this cruise, claim direct from P&O. I agree that 5% is poor compensation, but I guess they have to set a limit and stick to it........ I do remember you from the Aurora 2016 cruise.

Hello Otter 18, so we were on the Aurora 16 cruise, fancy that, you often meet up with people from past cruises! we booked direct with P&O onboard, so have no TA. We cannot believe the pathetic service received from P&O particularly when the cancellation is there problem and doing! They just do not want to reply to any emails. In desperation yesterday I sent emails to every facebook page of their's I could find and finally someone replied, contacted accounts in head office who said there had been a total stuff up with our cheques and that maybe we would get the money paid direct into our bank account....we'll see if and when that eventuates! If P&O was a small private enterprise they would be out of business acting like this! The 5% compensation offered not even equates to the interest they have gained from our money over the 6 months they have had it, so they aren't giving us anything, actually taking from us by not giving the full interest! we don't expect to see the refund for quite some time yet!

We were booked on this cancelled Oriana cruise. P&O did not tell us it was cancelled. we were on a cruise from Japan to Sydney when a tour booked was refunded to our c.c. without explanation. Emails to P&O asking why this happened were not returned. we then asked a friend in UK to try and find out why they tour was cancelled. She found out the whole cruise was cancelled! Eventually we found an email of a staff member to ask about this, he replied a letter had been sent to our home address, no email sent! well there was no letter waiting for us when we got home to Australia and still no letter to today! How is that for customer service..if we had not booked one tour we would have flown to UK on Dec 27th and found the cruise cancelled!!! As others have said the 5% compensation for credit is woeful! We are now in the process of attempting to get a refund for the cruise..and we were also booked on the subsequent X802 Oriana cruise to Norway, which we naturally cancelled as well as we couldn't fill in the 50 days waiting...oh P&O did suggest we could sail on Queen Mary for 37 nights and pay another 3000gbp each! Yeah, not likely!

Trying to get straight answers on getting a refund is impossible, UK say there will be refunds coming from Australian office, Sydney say it's coming from UK...conflicting info and no one replies to emails from UK...makes it impossible when you live in Australia and the UK office is handling it all..we are $12000AUD out of pocket for last 6 months and can't see it coming back any time soon!

Yes we just found out today the cruise is cancelled also, what a shame...have to think what to do instead!

I'm going to be on the 19th November Diamond Princess Sailing! Hope to meet you both at the LGBT gathering!

I'm hoping it's going to be a good group as we might be on-board when (hopefully) Marriage Equality gets passed into Law in Australia (*crossing all my fingers*). I'd love some people to celebrate with (or commiserate with if things go south)!

We just came off of the Island Princess on 9/23/17 at around 9:00 am and the Porter's where already taking luggage for the ships next cruise as people were arriving early and well before the check in time.
